"Excellent response. Excessive dust has been visible throughout the house for some time, especially in the hallway and master bedroom. We suspected buildup in the air duct and a break or blockage in the dryer vent. We were told the first available date for this work would be two weeks in the future. Fortunately, a change allowed us to be added to the schedule within a few days. Technicians (Mike & Colby) went the extra mile to research the problem and fix issues. The initial 1/2 day cleaning became an all day effort. The dryer vent had a broken line (duct tape had failed on a section) and the air duct had two sections (2-3 feet long) that looked intact externally, but had actually collapsed inside causing insulation to be in contact with system airflow. Other companies have provided duct cleaning and sealing without identifying this issue. Conjecture is that the ducts were damaged due to overstretching when installed or previous damage during cleaning. We are very happy that air quality will now improve and they found the cause that others couldn't. We highly recommend this company."

Master Sweep is a full service chimney company. Servicing the entire Portland Metro area for over 12 years. My Construction Contractors Board license # is 147440. Ask about our Angie's List discount.

"Jason Doran is currently operating on a suspended CCB license #147440. He appears to now be running his business under the name of Chimney-Pro (most likely due to the license suspension). There is a reason why he has received numerous 1 star reviews and it is because he is completely incompetent and a p*** poor "con artist." He is not licensed to work in the state of WA but did so toward the end of 2024. We filed a complaint with the WA Dept of Labor and Industries. He is being fined in the amount of $1,200 for this violation. We paid him $2,000 to perform work. He royally f'd up the job. We offered to settle for a refund for $1,000, he declined. We just won a small claim judgment against him in the current amount of $2,496.38. If he continues to avoid this situation, the fees will only increase. Do not hire Master Sweep or Chimney-Pro."
