SUNSERI'S PACK & LOAD

The move went very smoothly and they were professional throughout. The took the time to protect fragile items (such as our 60-inch television) and were careful when removing from the old house and moving to the new one. They worked very hard for six hours each day. His original estimate was for a four-man crew but, by adding a fifth member, he was able to cut the estimated time and actually came in under budget. Additionally, Tony provided some of the used boxes from his previous clients which helped us save money. I would give an unhesitatingly positive review for his work and would highly recommend him.

He moved my furniture temporarily and took extreme care. He then, moved me completely from my temporary home to my new home. He took great care of my furniture and was timely. He is also independently owned. He did a really wonderful job. Really happy I found him.

Moving can be incredibly stressful, but Tony did such a
wonderful job that this move was a relative breeze. Tony confirmed the
move the day before and showed up on time. We walked through the house so Tony
could determine the best approach to packing the furniture and approximately 20
containers of items. He had dollies and many, many protective pads, which
he used liberally. My furniture was well protected. I had not done a
particularly good job of packing, so fragile items were in many different
containers and were frequently not well protected. Tony carefully loaded
all items into the truck. At the storage unit, he listened to all of my
concerns and addressed each of them. Each item was carefully handled and
placed in the storage unit. Placement of the items will allow me room to maneuver
in the unit. Tony was patient, professional, and a pleasure to work
with. His partner in the move (whose name escapes me) was also very
helpful and handled all items with care.

I wanted to move most things myself to save money, but wanted some help with the larger items like the dining room table, dresser etc. I rented a Uhaul truck and did all the smaller things, and Tony and Anthony came right on time to help with the larger items. They were kind and professional, and did a great job. They brought lots of furniture protector sheets and several clothes-hanging boxes. It took about 2 hours to move. Would definitely recommend them.

Tony and Mike remembered to call and confirm a day or two before our move. We were moving two households into one, and one of the households was upstairs, although in the same apartment complex. They showed up right on time and went straight to work, not even taking any breaks. They worked hard and fast and seemed to have an instinct as to which piece to move next. I couldn't believe the packing job they did. The job took two trips. My apartment was moved second, and I was amazed at how fast they got back to me after unloading a three bedroom apartment at the other house. They came fully prepared with pads and blankets and dollies and wardrobes, and every piece of furniture was handled like it was a family heirloom. I could not detect any scratches or scrapes or gouges as a result of the move. We, of course, could not get everything from the two households into the one, so they unloaded a lot into the garage, and compacted all that stuff so that we could still move around in the garage. They were completely polite and professional at ALL times. Thank you Tony and Mike, for all your hard work. We could not have done it without you.

These guys are truly impressive. It's a small operation and when they first showed up I wasn't sure they had enough men or enough space to get the job done. They, however, had no doubts, and they were right. They worked hard and tirelessly to get everything packed and on the road. (We did most of the box packing, but they finished the job and packed the truck). I couldn't even get them to take a lunch break! They made great time to our destination and worked equally hard to get everything unloaded. One piece of furniture ended up with some damage (split door); this piece was very old and may well have broken in anyone's hands just from vibrating on the truck ride down, but they immediately offered to discount their price for the repair. They deposited Mom's posessions in 3 different spots -- her apartment, our apartment, and her storage room -- all with accuracy and care. We could not have asked for a better team to make a very difficult move as easy as it possibly could be.

Tony came highly recommended to us by a friend who described a Herculean effort Tony did when moving him and his wife from CA to OR. He lived up to the expectations. Things looked a bit shaky at the start: while Tony showed up right on time, one of his team members no-showed, leaving just a team of two. But the two of them buckled down and managed to get the move completed only about an hour later than estimated. All packing was done professionally with every item making the move intact. They assembled and helped place our large solid wood 8-seat dining table, and moved all boxes to the rooms requested, taking care to wrap and shield to avoid damaging our new home. They were careful backing into our steep driveway, placing plywood to avoid gouging pavement. And Tony is a really nice guy. Would absolutely use again. This is the second time we have used Tony to help us move. The crew was completely professional. Everything went well. Tony's estimate of the size truck we needed was very accurate. Tony provided all the equipment and pads -- we did not need to rent anything but the truck itself. The truck was loaded very carefully and efficiently. It was raining the day of the move. Runners were laid both at the home we were moving from and moving to. We highly recommend Tony Sunseri.

Tony confirmed our schedule twice, including the day before the work was to be done. All three men were fit, pleasant, and thoroughly professional. They arrived on time dressed appropriately. They brought hand trucks, protective mats and runners. They were very careful with our home and with our furniture, including managing to get a mattress up a narrow and twisted staircase. We had our cartons labeled with a room designation, and labels on each room. Every piece was delivered to its correct room. There was no damage to anything. We definitely recommend Tony Sunseri's Pack and Load.

Tony and crew were very thorough and meticulous. They took the extra time to wrap breakable objects and to protect furniture from scratches. Very personable and pleasant to work with as well.

My wife and I were moving from a house to an apartment. We both haave bad backs so we needed a mover who would also pack for us. We called and looked into many companies and got estimates. By far Tony Sunseri's was the best. He came to our home and spent some time with us and went over all our moving options. We hired him and it was the best thing we ever did concerning this move. Tony and his worker Mike came the day before and packed our entire house in 3 hours. The next morning they came right on time and started the move. We didnt have to do anything but sit and relax. Tony and Mike were so nice and caring about our posessions. They even put light bulbs in the lamps before leaving and they will come back and get all our boxes so we dont have to worry about disposing them.

Tony provided a thorough quote with explanation for his estimates. He and his assistant worked non-stop and packed my items meticulously. Ultimately they finished exactly on time and budget with no breaks. They unpacked and assembled all of my large items and nothing was damaged. I rejoined craigslist just to find Tony's contact info and would HIGHLY recommend him for move's in Eugene. Top notch.

I was having panic attacks the day before he came to pack us; I never thought we'd make it. He and his staff packed us all up in the time estimated. They took cate to explain the packing, labeling system so that we could find our stuff when we unpacked! Everything packed well and properly. I've heard of movers who will pack dirty bath mats with clean clothes for example but not this staff. They do it right. They came with the truck the next day and moved us into the new house. We had a lot of boxes and they use them all and had brought extras for us as we ran out.the move came in right on budget or a little bit under. Great job. I hope we never need to move again but will recommend Tony to whoever needs to.

I was quite happy with the service that he gave me. We boxed most stuff, but obviously the bigger stuff, furniture and stuff like that, he moved with a guy that he was working with.

He did an amazing job. The guy is a genius at packing and I can't believe he fit everything in there. The movers that unpacked it even remarked at how great his packing job was. Everything was in great shape when we got to our destination, even after over 1,200 miles. If you need a mover, this is your man.

Excellent from start to finish!!

I was a little worried when they arrived with a trailer because they would have to go up quite a steep hill to my daughter's, but they secured the freezer well and I Ied them up the shortest way. The actual loading and unloading were easy because they could back right up to the garages.

Great - They did everything that I needed and took great care of my furniture

Tony brought us boxes which we packed. He helped pack our large paintings. Tony and Mike arrived on schedule on April 14th. Loaded the truck in 4 hours. Next day they arrived an hour early in Portland and unloaded everything right on schedule. Nothing broken or even scratched. This was the smoothest move we have ever had.

Very smoothly. There was a moment when we didn't think everything would fit into the truck, but they managed it (a few boxes went in the back of my van, otherwise, they would have been placed in the cab.

Tony and Roger arrived on time and immediately set to work. They asked questions when they needed to and did exactly what Tony said they would do. The unload was to an apartment with 2 flights of stairs, and only the interior stairs were available. Tony and Roger adapted to that and placed furniture where I needed it to go. There were a couple of problems with a particularly large computer cabinet, but they persevered and got it done. Tony returned four days later and repaired the gouges in the doorway and stairwell. He also hooked up the dryer, which was not part of our deal!!

My husband and I just moved to Eugene from the East Coast after a very stressful month and last minute packing. I had arranged with Tony Sunseri completely by phone while in transit to unload the trailer with all our stuff when it arrived. He was curtious and very responsive and helpful given our situation and short notice. When we opened the trailer we were all shocked at how badly the load had shifted due to the lack of tie down and securing of the load by the company I had hired back East. Tony and his crew took it all in stride and managed to not only unload the trailer safely but also managed to minimize the damage that had already occurred. They also maneuvered the piano and other large heavy pieces around the tight corners in the apartment without bumping into anything. I was wonderfully amazed at their competence and cheerful attitude. If I ever move again or need good experienced packing and moving I will definitely use Sunseri again and recommend him to everyone.

Tony and his crew did a great job. When he realized that he wasn't going to finish in the time he quoted me, he called in a third man and didn't even charge me extra for him! Great value, on-time, professional and courteous. Will absolutely hire next time I move.

I was a little nervous to hire someone sight unseen, but as soon as he arrived with his assistant, I knew I didn't need to be. Tony Sunseri is the height of professionalism and expertise. He knows moving, inside and out, and he passes that along to his assistants. They were fast and efficient, working well together without any complaint. Tony mentioned to me that he's been in the moving business for about 20 years, and I believe it! It shows. Also, his prices are beyond fair. I was happy to pay the rate he charged me for the job he did, and I added a good tip because I was so happy with the job they did.

Our plan was to hire them to move all the big stuff, and then finish the little stuff on our own (after sorting and weeding out etc.) Tony Sunseri agreed to come over and give a (free) estimate and arrived a few minutes early. He wrote down everything in detail and asked a lot of good questions. The estimate was favorable, so we committed and scheduled the work. He called to confirm the evening before and arrived on time the next morning. The move went exactly according to plan, except it took them about an hour longer than estimated -- which was my fault, not theirs. In the last days and hours before the move I found more and more things to add to the list. At one point during the move we realized that our futon couch was one inch too long for the space we'd designated at the new place. I had an idea to trim the arms (it's just unfinished pine). I had a Skill saw, but didn't feel confident about using it, so I asked Tony, and he readily agreed, and cut two nice straight lines, and my son sanded it to a nice finish (it later fit the new spot perfectly). Tony commented that that was a first, but it's a measure of his flexibility and many talents. They packed everything perfectly, unpacked everything and got everything in, and even moved a couple items twice without complaint. Overall an excellent experience -- great on punctuality, accuracy of estimate, communication, flexibility, collaboration, safety of the items in transit, and finishing the job strong. Their clever arrangements on the use of the truck help keep prices low. I highly recommend them.
