"I’m assuming this company has the capacity to do good work based on their reputation that I was aware of, however they are new to Eugene & the new techs that did the install didn’t know what they were doing. Their coating became porous & brittle within a month & after finally getting one of their project leads to my home for inspection, which was an ordeal in & of itself, they admitted a faulty job, offered me 50% discount on the condition that they could come back & redo the project when it fit my schedule better & I would pay them the 50% back. However I have not received the discount yet & I have had to reach back out to them to request it & now all I’m getting is a request to leave a review. Lol"

"Hired them for a basic residential addition foundation job and they completely screwed up every step of the process. They don’t know how to read plans or pour straight out flat foundations. They don’t pay their subs which is coming back on us now. They won't respond to any communications. A lien has now been filed on the project because of their lack of payment. Shocked at their ineptitude. Very friendly people, but they should not be construction business owners."

Water damage to a foundation often starts as a slow leak or water vapor problem that worsens over the course of months or even years. Most of the time, normal foundation settling will present as thin cracks in the foundation and minor creaks in the floorboards. In contrast, you can identify foundation issues by wide or uneven foundation cracks, horizontal or step-shaped gaps on the foundation wall, or cracks that go around corners of your foundation. Foundation problems can also cause changes in your living area, like increased humidity, uneven or sloping floors, nail pops in drywall, countertops pulling away from the wall, and windows and doors getting stuck. When in doubt, call in a professional to identify the underlying cause.

Efflorescence can damage a concrete slab for two to three years. After that, it resolves on its own once the surrounding salts are gone.

If your concrete steps have crumbled or chipped, you can fix them by removing any chips or flakes, cleaning and wetting the affected area, applying a concrete bonding agent, and finally applying new concrete, usually in the form of Portland cement. For widespread damage, you can consider concrete resurfacing instead. For fixing concrete spalling that has led to deep damage, you might need to remove damaged material, add structural supports, and pour new concrete into a mold.
