"The Village Builder team was a small group of highly skilled woodworkers, painter/finisher, and hardwood floor installer, all overseen by the company owner. The team did beautiful work and was a delight to have in our home for several weeks. Old windows were refurbished, old trim and doors were disposed of or donated, old flooring was removed and gorgeous new maple floors with a cherry inlay was installed to match an existing area of the house. A complete tear-out of the central stairway was replaced with a fir and maple staircase constructed and finished onsite. New fir trim was installed throughout the house. Expensive (in great part due to our choice of materials), beautiful work from a great group and well worth it!"

"I hired Dorson Jackson of Jackson Construction as my general contractor to perform a kitchen addition and remodel in September 2022. He completely gutted my kitchen, moved a wall to expand the space, and installed new everything (custom cabinets, countertop, tile backsplash, LVP flooring, lighting, plumbing, and appliances). It was a big project so inevitably had a few (pretty minor) hiccups along the way, but he was always quick to respond to and resolve my concerns. I am so pleased with the end result! I recently required a warranty repair due to an issue with my dryer vent (which was moved during the remodel). He had someone at my house the next day to resolve my issue. Dorson is a man of his word and does excellent work. I would not hesitate to hire him again."
