A native to Bend Oregon, Jon Rumgay, owner and chief window tint, has been successfully installing a wide range of window films for over 20 years. Since then, Jon has been heavily involved in many facets of the window film industry. Starting out as a film installer during his high school days, venturing into a manufactures representative position even instructing auto and flat glass installation class around the US. Oregon Window Tinting has the film contacts and the skills needed to combat a wide range of issues; from heat and glare to privacy and security needs. We DO NOT service AUTOMOTIVE window tinting needs!

"I hired Tinting Oregon to put tinting on every window in our townhome and they did an amazing job. It was quick, efficient and well done. I would definitely recommend them."

We do not manufacture windows or doors for homes nor do we use Insulated glass. Strafford Window Mfg. manufacturers custom wood windows for barns, sheds, stables, pool houses, cabin, porches and interior applications in the home. Our windows are made of all wood and single strength glass. Call for pricing on Tempered glass. Strafford Window MFG. manufactures Sashes, Transoms, Single Hung Window Units, Hopper Window Units, Fixed Window Units and Screens.

"These windows are solid, well built and look great. I will be ordering more for my house."

We have a permenant Ceramic coating that goes on the exterior of homes. This coating process will actually prevent your home from cracking, chipping and peeling. It will waterproof and protect your home from weather cycles that cause these things. It's not paint. Never paint again

"I was on the market for a security system and this one seemed easy enough to install.......went through the process and some of the window sensors were not working. I called Customer Support who was very friendly and we went through the entire process again...this time other window sensors did not work. This went on for a week or so...then the door senors stopped working....than the motion sensor stopped working...at no time in over a month did I have a fully operational security system. As I was about to return the system I was told they have "new" sensors and they just realized they received a bad batch and are working with another company.....Gave it a try....and same issue returned....some sensors worked....some didn't. I finally returned the system and stopped getting emails.....only to find that they were still billing my credit card even after I returned the equipment. Very nice people and very understanding.....unfortunately their product is not up to par. While we do have a large home, it's an open concept and the sensors that weren't working were no more than 15ft away from the base. The previous owners of my house had a wireless system with no issues at all.....I'm going to be using that company going forward."

Hurricane Film questions, answered by experts

No, it’s not normal for windows to rattle in the wind. If they do, it may signal that there’s a larger problem at play. Common reasons that windows rattle in the wind are because the glass isn’t secure enough, the frame is loose, or the wood is rotting. In any of these cases, you should identify the problem and take steps to fix it.

Schedule regular snow removal, apply salt or sand to icy areas, and mark hazards like curbs or drains.

Homeowners insurance may cover basement flooding, but only if a covered peril causes it. For example, a burst pipe may be covered if the event was sudden and accidental, not caused by wear and tear or homeowner neglect. Flooding caused by extreme weather is only covered if you have a separate flood insurance policy.

Unfortunately, there’s no definitive answer to this question, but the wind rating of your shingles will give you a good idea of what wind speeds can damage your roof. If you’re concerned about damage, inspect your roof following windy conditions to look for signs of wind damage to your shingles. When in doubt, consider hiring a professional who fixes roofs to carry out an expert inspection. Remember that hurricanes, tropical storms, and tornadoes are likely to cause the most damage, but even severe thunderstorms can bring winds that compromise your roofing system.

Costs for water or storm damage restoration generally range from $2,000 to $10,000, based on the extent of the damage and the specific services needed for repair.
