"Working with Michael to set up the two moves with terrific. My problems came from the actual movers. The first movers dropped a heavy piece and damaged it. This group to our items to a location where they were transferred to another group to finish the move. More damage happened. The second move was done by a different group who picked up our things and delivered them. Again some damage. My problem with the second move was with the claim department at National Van Lines. I was overly careful about the damages I claimed (only submitting the largest items or easiest to replace), but had to negotiate to get a fair deal. BUT NVL did set me up with a great guy who could fix most of the damaged items."

We have a couple of things that are tricky to move due to age and fragility, and they spent time figuring best way to wrap and carry. They still finished in 4 hours, going 2 places (storage and the new house). I was very organized, which helps any mover, but the one time I was in total chaos, they still handled it with speed and care.
