"My Heat Pump AC failed, and I called 2 other companies, and all they said was "you're on the list". Ron answered the call and came out, at the end of the day, and got my 20 year old system to at least work in AC mode. So, I asked about a replacement system, he gave me a price that was lower than some others, and arranged for financing, and came out and put in the system with 2 assistants. It is very well installed, much better insulated than the system we had and is very quiet and efficient. Airflow is much better than it was. Overall I strongly recommend Awesome as a repair service or for new install. They were very professional and reliable."

No. Your furnace does not run your air conditioner. Both units use the same system of ductwork to move conditioned air throughout your home, but you can have a furnace without having an air conditioner and vice versa. Trick question: There is no difference between an AC and a furnace blower motor. Certain systems may have separate blower motors for the AC and furnace, but each serves the same function.

This is a bit of a trick question. Even though the seasons arrive at the same time every year, the weather doesn’t always behave according to the calendar. So, while it’s fair to say that you can expect to turn on your AC starting in late May or early June, it all depends on the outside temperature and how cool you like to keep your home.

It’s critical to use the right size AC for your space and not go too small or too big. If you purchase an undersized unit, it won’t properly cool your house, and it has to work harder to reach the optimal temperature. This will eventually wear your unit out.
