"Steve came over and gave us some good news (not a foundation problem), but also gave us a reference to someone who repairs concrete for the type of problem we have. He really knew all about these issues and told us some signs to look for that would indicate a real foundation problem. Very pleasant company to deal with."

"We contracted with Greg to repair and strengthen our existing deck but after removing the surface boards he found the supporting lumber was too damaged to use and the whole deck needed to be replaced.  At every point in the process, Greg kept us informed of what was going on and asked what we wanted to do.  He knew we were on a limited budget and made every effort to keep costs down while still giving us a strong, durable deck.  He arrived promptly every day and worked hard, in spite of the high temperatures we were having.  We were extremely pleased with his service and love the new deck.

Poured Concrete Wall - Repair

Serving Echo, OR and surrounding areas

In business since 1998

"I received an estimate and ask when the work could be done.  Was told the following Monday.  The Crew arrived mid morning prepared the area for concrete.  There was damage to a water line and an electrical line, and each were repaired even though it was unavoidable because of the conditions.  The area was prepared after removing various other items that were in their way.  The surface was graded to a 4" thickness and compacted.  The concrete was place the same day and the finish was as I specified.  I was a construction engineer and inspector for over 30 years and this crew worked hard and provided a quality of work that could be put up against larger contractors and is better that some.

Foundation Repair questions, answered by experts

Mudjacking is usually reserved for light-duty slabs, like patios, driveways, and sidewalks. However, it can be an effective way to lift garage slabs and concrete around the perimeter of the home, which could harm your foundation if it’s not done properly. The risk of damage is why having a professional mudjacking company carry out the work is important. This type of slab or foundation repair is relatively inexpensive, especially if you consider that a DIY job requires that you pay to rent the necessary equipment.

Foundation repairs cost about $5,000, on average. Typically, prices range from $2,200 to $7,800, depending on the type and extent of repairs needed. Cost factors include foundation type, home size, soil stability, accessibility, and the ultimate cause of the problem and what methods and materials are required to fix it.

Common issues with concrete that may require professional repair or resurfacing include cracks, spalling, uneven surfaces, and weather damage.

Although some concrete cracks are cosmetic, others can be more serious. Cracks wider than ⅛ inch or that extend through the slab are serious and can cause structural damage. If you notice these types of cracks in your concrete patio, contact a local contractor who installs concrete patios to inspect the damage and determine how to fix it.

Yes. A foundation wall can usually be replaced, but you’ll want to call a foundation professional.
