"I am thrilled with the business I've done with this company, especially Dale G. the owner. He was recommended by a friend 3years ago, and cleaned white wool carpet. He has cleaned it every year since and it looks new every time, even when spotted from pets and dirty shoes. I trust Dale so much that as the co-chair of our community maintenance committee, we have hired him to work on floors in both of our clubhouses. He cleaned a garage, poolroom and 2 restrooms after a muddy flood from a storm and he just finished a carpeted loft and exposed aggregate hallway in our main clubhouse that hadn't been cleaned since the 80's. Many community residents use Dales' services and they also have had great experiences and results. He's the best and I will continue to call on him for help as long as there;s dirt in our world!! Thanks so much Dale !"

"within minutes, I received a call from the very friendly and professional Michelle. Calling me all the way from California! Michelle explained the services she could and could not offer in terms of my needed furniture repair. And while she cannot help me specifically with my furniture issue, she offered a very generous solution: she is going to send me leather dye for the scratched ottoman and talk me through the repair, should I need help! Michelle also explained that she deals with customers all over the country, in need of leather and purse and clothing repair, cleaning, and restoration. Based on my extremely positive experience with Michelle, I will be sure to call her in the future when I need help with fur, leather or suede goods!!!"

Couch Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

As a general rule, HVAC air filters should be replaced every one to three months (or every 90 days). However, the ideal frequency depends on several factors, including the filter type and your home's environment. For instance, if you use thinner filters (1-2 inches deep), have pets, have household members with allergies, smoke indoors, or frequently keep windows open, you may need to change the filter as often as once a month. It's best to follow the manufacturer's recommendation as a guideline and visually inspect the filter monthly to see if it's dirty. Regular filter changes are crucial for maintaining proper airflow, good indoor air quality, and efficient HVAC system operation.

No, running your furnace without an air filter isn’t better than running it with a dirty filter. Even if it’s dirty, a filter will still prevent particles from blowing around your ducts and your house. However, neither of these options is good for your furnace or your health. Replace your filter once every one to three months for optimal furnace performance and air quality.

While a whole-house air purification system is more expensive than a portable or room-sized air purifier, they have very different expectations to live up to. Room-level purifiers are available for well under $100, while whole-house units can cost up to several thousand. For individuals in the home with conditions that warrant the use of an air purifier, balancing needs against budget is necessary to determine if the extra cost of a whole-home system is worth it.

Yes, a dirty air filter can cause a higher electric bill. That’s because clogged filters make it harder for air to flow through your HVAC system, which forces it to work harder and use more energy. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, replacing dirty filters can save you between 5% and 15% in utility costs.

If you have black flakes or chunks coming out of your tub’s jets, it is generally some combination of mildew, mold, soap scum, skin flakes, and oils. These are substances you definitely don’t want to be soaking in as you’re trying to get clean, which is why regularly cleaning your jetted tub is so important.
