"Hired them for a basic residential addition foundation job and they completely screwed up every step of the process. They don’t know how to read plans or pour straight out flat foundations. They don’t pay their subs which is coming back on us now. They won't respond to any communications. A lien has now been filed on the project because of their lack of payment. Shocked at their ineptitude. Very friendly people, but they should not be construction business owners."

MW Design Workshop was established in 1985 by Alex Zukowski, a fourth generation woodworker. Alex was raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, his father an immigrant furniture maker from Ukraine. There he learned the skills and the love of woodworking and the tradition was passed on. Over the years we have grown from a garage to our current facility where we can build several different architectural pieces simultaneously. We have also put together an exceptional team of people, which allows us to offer full service custom designed staircases, casework and other architectural work. Fine custom work often requires the careful integration of wood, metal, glass, and other materials; even other trades. This integration of capabilities in-house is our greatest strength, and best service to our clients.
