Great service, door to door.

First off I should say that I have used this company in the past, often with very good results. However in this case, they really missed the mark. I took my car in for an AC repair, and it appears that all they did was recharge it (not sure it even needed that) and checked for leaks. The AC worked about 1-2 days. So I took it back, and they said, hmmm, no leaks. Maybe it's a problem in your dashboard. I didn't feel like arguing, so I went to another service provider who found the problem immediately and fixed it the same day. Ironically, the problem was caused by a plugged cabin filter, which Continental had supposedly replaced (at a fairly spendy cost) a while before when I had been trying to get a nasty smell out of the ventilator system. The smell never really went away after that repair, but since I had this latest repair made elsewhere, the smell is now gone too! It makes me wonder if Continental took some kind of short cuts in the past.

My 2001 Honda Civic is the fourth car I have taken to Continental for service or repair. I have always been pleased with their attitude, accurate estimates, completing the work when promised and their prices. They also give a 10% discount on labor for AAA members. (It's a AAA approved shop) They provide courtesy transportation to and from the shop. I think $685 for all the work they did was quite reasonable.

They advised that they had placed dye in the system and pressurized it in order to locate the leak, when in actuality they did not do this at all. Ultimately, they only added coolant to the system but did not attempt to locate the leak. Even when presented with irrefutible evidence thtat they had not done this, Continental refused to make any concessions or reparations.

They provided me with excellent service. They were very professional and found the problem quickly and fixed it without any problems. They were very honest with me about the work needed done. They were able to fix the problem easily and very inexpensively. I would use their services again.
