Father to 2 kids. Currently in CDL trucking school to better my kids and my future. Right now I'm looking for a few quick jobs to help pay for it. Safety and quality are huge for me. I’m a very hard worker and will get any job done in a timely manner! I have +8 years of residential roofing experience, some experience in stone restoration, & about 4yrs of waterproofing masonry. I’m honestly open to most any job whatever it is you would like help with!

"The person who cleaned our home was great.  I think her name is Amber.
She was friendly, detailed and fast.
My only complaint; I thought I was buying 4 hours of cleaning (2 people for 2 hours), which is how much time I allotted in my schedule.  But Amber arrived alone, so 1 person for 4 hours. Thankfully, I was able to rearrange my schedule.

"Great company . Dave in their installation and service department is very honest and concerned for the customer's experience. Recommended we not clean our Bali blinds based on potential for dye to bleed through and discolor the fabric. Disappointing news, but happy with repair to the auto retract function of the blinds."

Blind Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Although it’s essential to clean your blinds every month or two as a best practice for keeping them dirt and dust-free, professional blind cleaning is often a more practical way to go. One significant benefit to having your blinds cleaned professionally is the overall saved time, as cleaning them yourself can be time-consuming. Other benefits include:

  • Ensuring that dirt and dust, which can cause health issues in those with sensitivities, are fully removed

  • Increasing the life expectancy of your current blinds to save money on replacements

  • Ensuring that your blinds are cleaned thoroughly and correctly, as blinds can be complex

DIY cleaning is possible but may not remove deep dust, stains, or allergens as effectively as professional methods.

Deep cleaning removes dirt, bacteria, and allergens, improving indoor air quality and extending blind lifespan.

The cost for professional blind or shade cleaning can range from $10 to $50 per blind. The final price depends on factors like the blind's material, size, and the specific cleaning method used. For example, cleaning aluminum Venetian blinds may cost between $10 and $34 per blind, while more complex roller blinds can range from $18 to $50. You may also encounter additional fees for cleaning supplies.

Whether window film is better depends on individual preferences and specific needs. In some instances, window film can be much less costly to install. Aesthetics is also a deciding factor. Window film may have a more significant appeal for design minimalists looking for a clean and streamlined look without the heaviness that comes with curtains. On the flip side, they can also appeal to design maximalists looking for creative expression in the form of color, patterns, and texture. Choosing between window film and traditional window coverings depends on factors like desired functionality, aesthetics, and personal preferences.
