Crew was polite, prompt, on-time and professional. No complaints.
Work had room for improvement.
They were great with their prep work. Covered everything and patched tiny nail holes as they came across them. Removed all of the outlet covers so they could paint well. I'd removed the baseboards as they were getting replaced and they painted down so when I put the baseboards back on it would look great.
The painting itself went quick, 3-4 guys in and out in 3 days. I chose a very light (almost white) color to go on top of a light brown and when they were done you could still see patches of the brown coming out from under the new paint (didn't prime). I pointed it out and while they gave it another coat basically said that when I lower the blinds and the room gets darker, I wouldn't be able to see it. Well, great, but I KNOW it's there...
While they did pick up after themselves, they did overlook some things like putting the closet rods back and in and leaving some nails they pulled out in the carpet.
As they were packing up I went through and found quite a few areas that needed a second pass (corners, seams, around the door frames). I pointed them out and while they did do a second pass, I kind of feel like they should have caught the vast majority of those themselves.
Overall, the crew was great, the prep-work was great, the clean-up could have been better and I feel like they should have either done two coats to cover the darker color or primed first (I got no communication about it other than "it's really white").
Not sure I would use them again, but I was a bit short on time and they were the only guys who could do it in the time frame required. Given more time, I would probably hire someone else.

We are thankful for the referral to Jim Fisher of Billionfold Paint Co.  We originally hired him to paint the interior of our recently acquired Sunriver condo which was built in 1971. He helped us with so much more than paint. He was like having 5 contractors in one.  If he could not do something, he found us someone who could.  We used him, or one of his associates, to paint the entire interior of our condo ( including stripping an extensive stubborn wallpaper border), installing all new flooring (tile), new granite tile countertops in kitchen and bathroom, refinished older louvre closet doors, constructing an original wood frame for a mirror in the entry that matched the trim on the front door, installed new bathroom exhaust fans, installed a new dining chandelier, shoveled snow from our roof, etc, etc.  We appreciated his design opinion.  He had excellent follow up. He was meticulous.  After any of his associates worked in our condo he inspected every detail. If he felt that one of his associates missed even a minor detail, he insisted on making it perfect. Besides the fact that his work was excellent and reasonably priced, he was trustworthy, reliable, extremely punctual, and after working in our condo, he left it cleaner than when he started!  His associates were clean and polite.  He responded quickly to emails and phone calls. You truly to not find contractors with this much integrity anymore. Jim Fisher is one in a "billion".
