A pioneering dealer for next-generation windows and eco-friendly building products, Apex Energy Solutions serves homeowners who value and love the place they call home. At Apex, we don't simply sell home improvements; we educate homeowners so they make the right choices for their homes. And we offer products and services that support those decisions windows that exceed government standards for energy efficiency and sustainability, matched with expert installation and customer support to ensure that the products you choose perform well. As a homeowner facing rising energy costs and working to reduce your impact on the environment, you expect the utmost from home remodeling professionals. And that's what you get from Apex, where our name reflects our passion.

"Excellent, careful, tidy, efficient installation of energy efficient triple paned super insulated custom windows. The screens are 'self-healing' - get a demo if you haven't seen this. The installation crew worked with those of us working from home and were so respectful of our needs. They cleaned up after themselves. They were good trainers too: These windows can be cleaned without going outside and given that my house is 3 stories, this was necessary. Also child locks. I like that advertising is mostly word of mouth and that the cost savings therefore are given to the customer. You will get an amazing price! Call/text Dianah to get the best deal, and the cool demo, and mention this posting perhaps: Dianah DeuPree; (541) 232-3833. Local office is actually Lake Oswego not Wilsonville anymore. I love my windows!!"

Windows questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can replace the frame around a window by completing either a partial replacement or a full replacement. With a partial replacement, your window specialist will remove the trim around the window and replace or repair just the damaged portion. For a full replacement, your tech will need to remove the window, replace the frame, and then reinstall the window.

You can add any type of window to a brick house, so long as the window has proper support. Windows with wider openings and windows in brick walls will need a lintel to support the extra weight above the window frame. A lintel is a support beam that distributes the weight from above evenly around the window.

Replacement windows normally don’t come with new sills, as the sill is part of the window frame that the replacement window fits inside. If you’re replacing windows, it’s a good idea to replace the sill, as well, especially since the sill will be fully exposed and easily accessible for replacement.

If your window well fills with water, first remove the water as soon as weather conditions allow, using a pump or wet/dry vacuum. If water has seeped into your basement, you may need to call a professional to assess the damage. Once the water has been pumped out of the well, check the drainage at the bottom of the well and clear out any blockages.

Typically, triple-pane windows made with krypton gas filling are the most energy efficient. A window’s frame, glass, design, and installation all affect its energy efficiency. These windows, in particular, are designed highly effectively in terms of their ability to insulate.
