Sawyer’s IncMr. Sawyer came to our home personally for the estimates. We appreciated that. Everything went smoothly. If something was not to our liking, they fixed it immediately. It took a long time due it raining almost every day for 2 months, but we were understanding and they were always there when they could be. The gentlemen that worked on our home were all very nice and polite. Mr. Sawyer said that he wanted to make sure that we were very happy when it was all said and done. Sawyer’s IncStarted the project several months after they promised. When completed had to have them come back and fix several cosmetic items. Had to continuously call them to get response. They made some promises about the product that were not followed through. Finally just quit coming all together. The porch was fine in the end but took a lot to get them to stand up to what they promised.- EMILY C.

Needed to be stripped with oxy bleach, scrubbed down, hosed off and stained. Holes in siding were expertly patched and sanded. Siding stained and foundation vents installed and s skirt painted. An excellent trap under deck crawl space flip up door was custom made. I provided the paint and stain and oxybleach scrubbing flo thru brush. Showed up early and cleaned up everyday after work. Really TERRIFIC professionals.

Two workers; so I am always hands on and at the job site. 27 years experience and never had a unsatisfied customer.
Recent Review:
A&A did remove materials and installed some new walls, ceilings and some flooring. They gave an estimate for the entire job and an approximate time line for job completion. The cost estimate covered 1/2 or less of the remodel cost and the time for completion would have been at least 2 times longer than estimated. A&A did not provide crews for work, but one person did most of the actual labor. They did have a Sheetrock finishing crew that did some work, but not all the Sheetrock finishing. After 5 months the job was 1/2 done and there was not 1 room in the house that was completed. Every room was started (at some level of dismantling), but nothing was completed. We lived 2 hours away and could not monitor hours worked or days worked and the last 2 months A&A worked for us, we believe their schedule was very erratic as far as far as working to complete our job.
The floor tile work was done well. The construction of a safe room was well done. There may have been problems that caused a delay in completion, but we were never told or consulted about the discrepancy in the time estimates. We did modify some of the details of the remodel and understood that the additions would add to the cost, but not double the cost. Another company was hired to complete the job.Reviewed by Johnye C.
