"10/10 From the initial inspection, to the install/repair, everything was excellent. The initial inspection was very professional and informative about the issue I was experiencing and how they would fix it. The pricing was exceptional, NLP were very affordable, and were the lowest of the estimates I had gotten. Thanks NLP, for the honesty, hard work, and the excellent service you provided!"

"Called, the owner came within an hour, gave estimate. Day 1 prep work, forms set. Day 2delayed due to rain. Day 2 6 man crew showed up, concrete truck arrived, they had a specialized tractor to haul concrete. Pour done within 1hour. 1 man stayed the rest of day to watch and ensure smooth. Next morning, boss inspected then 3 guys came by and removed forms and cleaned area. Total time. Prep, pour and cleanup 6 hours"

"I'm one of the first people to review this business! Naturally, because of that, I was somewhat skeptical about if I should hire Joey and his crew. I'm really glad that I did. Joey did great work to hand mix and pour a small concrete pad for a greenhouse in my backyard. He was easy to work with, reasonably priced, prompt, and cleaned up when he was finished. He helped me make some decisions for the placement, and even gave me some advice about how we could cut the cost down on the project. He even threw in a little extra repair to a brick I had that was falling out of a retaining wall close to the site where he was working on my main project. Give these guys a chance, and they'll do great work for you!"

"Transparent and upfront about pricing, high quality work, personable crew, timely execution. The only reason for less than five stars on quality is the folks used for replacing old sidewalk in piered area splashed concrete on remaining sidewalk and driveway - they came back out to "fix" this but just tried to paint a black substance over many of the splashes, which didn't work well and looks bad."

"Camps were more prompt with their estimate and the estimate was about 1/3 less than the others.  They broke up all old concrete in the garage and poured new concrete there and new front sidewalks and new front porch as well as pour a new back patio. They also bid quickly and came in less than others on the 2 round rail fencing around the house.  They started and finished promptly and it looks great.  They are currently remodeling our master bath and same thing.  Prompt service, providing advice and alternatives to get the look that we want.  Have received the estimate for flooring in most of house and is also going to be less than others.  I trust our contractor, Junior, and his men have been polite and clean up their work area as they go."

Concrete Leveling questions, answered by experts

Polyjacking and mudjacking can both be effective solutions for sinking concrete, but they have key differences. Polyjacking, which uses expanding polyurethane foam, is often considered a better option because the foam is significantly lighter than the cementitious material used for mudjacking. This reduced weight puts less pressure on the underlying soil and lowers the risk of future sinking. Polyjacking is suitable for any sinking concrete slab, while mudjacking is typically only recommended for non-structural concrete, such as sidewalks, patios, pool decks, and driveways. The primary drawback of polyjacking is its cost, which can be up to four times higher than mudjacking—as much as $25 per square foot compared to a maximum of about $6 per square foot for mudjacking.

Most states and municipalities don’t require concrete mudjacking companies to carry a specific license, but they usually need to have a general contractor’s license, and they should be fully insured. The only exception is if the mudjacking company provides foundation repairs as well, or if it offers mudjacking for home foundations. In that case, they will typically need a foundation repair contractor’s license. You can check state requirements and then use Angi’s license lookup tool to confirm that a company is properly licensed to provide mudjacking services in your area.

Yes, expanding foam (also known as polyurethane foam) can lift concrete. This approach, called polyjacking, involves injecting the foam rather than concrete slurry to fill voids and raise the concrete slab back into place. It’s often faster and requires smaller drill holes than traditional mudjacking, though it may come at a higher cost. Some contractors also prefer polyjacking over mudjacking for more damaged and delicate slabs.

Mudjacking is usually reserved for light-duty slabs, like patios, driveways, and sidewalks. However, it can be an effective way to lift garage slabs and concrete around the perimeter of the home, which could harm your foundation if it’s not done properly. The risk of damage is why having a professional mudjacking company carry out the work is important. This type of slab or foundation repair is relatively inexpensive, especially if you consider that a DIY job requires that you pay to rent the necessary equipment.

Many contractors offer warranties for their work. Confirm terms before starting the project.
