"10/10 From the initial inspection, to the install/repair, everything was excellent. The initial inspection was very professional and informative about the issue I was experiencing and how they would fix it. The pricing was exceptional, NLP were very affordable, and were the lowest of the estimates I had gotten. Thanks NLP, for the honesty, hard work, and the excellent service you provided!"

"Called, the owner came within an hour, gave estimate. Day 1 prep work, forms set. Day 2delayed due to rain. Day 2 6 man crew showed up, concrete truck arrived, they had a specialized tractor to haul concrete. Pour done within 1hour. 1 man stayed the rest of day to watch and ensure smooth. Next morning, boss inspected then 3 guys came by and removed forms and cleaned area. Total time. Prep, pour and cleanup 6 hours"

"I'm one of the first people to review this business! Naturally, because of that, I was somewhat skeptical about if I should hire Joey and his crew. I'm really glad that I did. Joey did great work to hand mix and pour a small concrete pad for a greenhouse in my backyard. He was easy to work with, reasonably priced, prompt, and cleaned up when he was finished. He helped me make some decisions for the placement, and even gave me some advice about how we could cut the cost down on the project. He even threw in a little extra repair to a brick I had that was falling out of a retaining wall close to the site where he was working on my main project. Give these guys a chance, and they'll do great work for you!"

"Transparent and upfront about pricing, high quality work, personable crew, timely execution. The only reason for less than five stars on quality is the folks used for replacing old sidewalk in piered area splashed concrete on remaining sidewalk and driveway - they came back out to "fix" this but just tried to paint a black substance over many of the splashes, which didn't work well and looks bad."

"Camps were more prompt with their estimate and the estimate was about 1/3 less than the others.  They broke up all old concrete in the garage and poured new concrete there and new front sidewalks and new front porch as well as pour a new back patio. They also bid quickly and came in less than others on the 2 round rail fencing around the house.  They started and finished promptly and it looks great.  They are currently remodeling our master bath and same thing.  Prompt service, providing advice and alternatives to get the look that we want.  Have received the estimate for flooring in most of house and is also going to be less than others.  I trust our contractor, Junior, and his men have been polite and clean up their work area as they go."

Concrete Leveling questions, answered by experts

Generally speaking, push piers—or steel piers—are the best option for underpinning, as they reach down to solid bedrock to find support for your foundation rather than relying on soil, which could be subject to the same issues as the soil directly below your foundation. However, the best underpinning method for your home depends on your location, how far down the bedrock is, and the type of soil in your area. Helical piers are usually the best option for sandy soil or in areas where the bedrock is too deep to use steel piers.

The polyurethane used for polyjacking will expand and cure in 15 to 30 minutes. After that point, your slab will be safe to walk on and even drive on in the case of a sidewalk or concrete driveway. Double-check with your concrete lifting specialist to confirm a curing timeline, as products can differ.

Polyjacking can be a permanent solution to sunken concrete if you also address the underlying issue—like poor drainage—at the same time. The polyurethane material itself can last as long as or even outlast the concrete you’re lifting it with. Your sunken concrete issue will likely return if you don’t couple polyjacking with proper drainage to prevent future soil movement and sinking.

Mudjacking typically takes 24 to 72 hours (one to three days) to dry and cure completely before you can resume normal use. The total drying time can vary depending on the size of the project. Because the slurry mixture contains cement, it needs to harden fully to prevent the concrete slab from shifting under added weight. You should avoid walking on the concrete or placing heavy items like furniture or vehicles on the surface until it has fully set. Your concrete contractor can provide a precise timeline. As a point of comparison, if you opt for polyjacking, the polyurethane foam can dry in minutes, but it's recommended to wait about an hour before use.

Most houses are expected to settle over time, but foundation sinking of more than a few inches or uneven sinking of more than an inch for every 20 feet is cause for concern. Any significant or uneven sinking should be assessed by a professional to determine the cause and perform any necessary repairs.
