"Very happy with price and quality of work.. Electricians were expert plus went above and beyond and corrected some existing issues with our electrical panel to bring it up to code.. Also went in attic and re-installed ceiling fan hangar to ensure it would bear the weight.."

"Everything rated A+. Amy, receptionist, is so awesome to speak with. Very obliging, very polite. Owner David and his helper Chris were the greatest. Very polite, very professional, went right to work installing one ceiling fan with lights in my living room and one ceiling fan with lights in my bedroom. I purchased remotes for both fans. David and Chris had them up and running. Great company to do business with and good, good, honest people. I will definitely use them for any electrical needs."

"I am very surprised by all the negative reviews, our installation went well.  Our initial appointment that was scheduled had to be changed but they were very flexible and came out on the weekend.  Mr. Logue had his family with him so instead of having them wait in the van we asked the kids to come in and play.  All parts of the installation went well and the fans all work great without any noise or wobble.  I submitted this review right after the service but didn't see it so I decided to write another one.  I would definitely use this service again and am sorry to see he is not on Angie's List anymore.

Ceiling Fans questions, answered by experts

If you’re replacing an old fixture with a ceiling fan, you usually won’t need a permit, but if your electrician runs new wiring for the fixture, you likely will need a permit. Building permits are necessary in most municipalities if you’re making changes to your electrical system, so even if you have partial wiring run to the area and need new wiring installed for added functionality, you’ll probably need a permit. Your electrician should be able to let you know if you need one, and they’ll typically file the paperwork for you.

Ceiling fans offer multiple benefits for your home. They improve air circulation to prevent stagnant environments and provide cost-effective temperature control, which can reduce reliance on your HVAC system and help lower utility bills. In addition to their functional advantages, ceiling fans can also enhance a room's aesthetic appeal with features like built-in lighting and modern styling.

There are many types of ceiling fans, from self-automated smart ceiling fans to outdoor ceiling fans that provide additional comfort to your patio. What you choose all comes down to function and personal taste.

Consider your ceiling height when selecting a ceiling fan. Rooms with ceilings under eight feet high will do well with low-profile ceiling fans, also known as flush-mount or hugger ceiling fans. If your home has cathedral ceilings or ceilings between 10 and 25 feet high, you’ll need a large ceiling fan with a heavy-duty motor to get adequate air circulation.

Fans not turning on, wobbling, noisy motors, or faulty remote controls are common issues requiring repair.

Many ceiling fan-rated electrical boxes tend to be made of metal. However, some electrical boxes may also be made of heavy-duty plastic that is reinforced with metal support structures. It may also have an attachment that connects directly to a ceiling joist. If you are ever ensure, consult with a licensed professional to get their insight on best practices and whether the installation is a safe one.
