Knew his stuff and was a Master plumber. He continued to have to talk to his boss about things as per the boss requirement. Daniel was told to put the pressure reducer UNDER the house when Daniel himself thot it would be better outside within easy reach ( Daniel knew more than boss!). Daniel was very professional and explained a lot. My beef is with the owner's $150 just to look at the leak ( we were desperate for time , otherwise we would have turned him away). Further, if the owner hires a good plumber like Daniel, he ought not to micro-manage every spitting detail which made a short fix into a 3 hour one !!!. He advertizes the BBB logo and so I assume thr owner(JC) is a good man just that the he needs to get back to standard fees for service charges and let his Master plumber do "master plumbing" w/o minute-by-minute contact. Previously another company came out to try to fix the problem twice and the problem persisted. It was suggested that if the problem continues that I need to invest in a new bathroom faucet. I bought a faucet and decided to replace the face bowl with a new, better quality one. The plumber quoted me a price and we set a date and time. He called 15 minutes ahead to let me know that he was on the way and arrived 5 minutes early. He asked me if I got the right sized face bowl and I said that I think that I did. He then measured it and the old face bowl and determined that I did indeed purchase the right size. He then asked me if I bought the adhesive to seal it with. I told him no and he asked why not and didn't they sell me some with the face bowl. I replied no. I asked him if some of the stuff under the sink would work and I was lucky enough to have some adhesive that he could use under there. The plumber asked me for a container to let water drain out of the P trap after he disconnected it. The container I brought was the wrong size. I got another container, it was the wrong size. He asked me where I was getting these containers from and promptly followed me into my kitchen looking through my cabinets for a proper container. When he was satisfied with what he found he went to work. He removed the plastic shelving that I had underneath the face bowl and placed it in my bedroom. After removing the old face bowl he asked me if I had a putty knife and some steel wool so he could clean the old adhesive off of the vanity surface. After I looked for about 5 minutes for some he said that's okay that he got most of it off. After finally installing the face bowl and the faucet I had to furnish towels for the water that managed to escape the before mentioned water catching container and P trap. The plumber then found that the drain was too short to reach the P trap and he would have to go to the supply store to get some pipe. When he returned he asked me if I had a knife that he could use the cut the pipe. After doing so he put everything back together and checked for leaks. Luckily there were none. He then left the old faucet, face bowl, dirty water and shelving from underneath the face bowl cabinet in my bedroom floor."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ar/fort-smith/tristate-plumbing-reviews-2039644.htm"},"position":9}]}

FAQs for affordable plumbing projects in Muldrow, OK
Yes, most states require plumbers to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
It’s possible to snake minor drain clogs yourself, provided they sit within a foot or two of the drain itself, but it’s usually best to hire a professional plumber regardless. Even experienced DIYers have a high chance of accidentally pushing the clog further into the drain using a drain snake or another tool, so hiring a plumber is the ideal course of action. A professional plumber can use camera equipment to locate and identify the clog, and remove the entire blockage to fix your issue permanently.
Typically, plumbing repairs cost about $325 per job but can range from $175 to $4,000 or more. Simple fixes, such as a toilet repair, will be less expensive at around $150 to $400. However, if you have a pipe that has burst, you can expect to pay between $1,000 and $4,000 or more.
The project that needs to be completed, the size of your home, and the type of plumbing pipes you have can all impact the final cost. External factors such as supply chain issues and shortage of materials all play a part in how much this repair might be.
The average cost to unclog a drain is around $200, with prices ranging between $110 and $800, depending on the type of drain and the extent of the clog. Hiring a professional to snake the toilet or sink will usually cost between $110 and $275, a bathtub or shower typically costs around $225, and a main line clog can cost between $100 and $800 based on the severity of the clog and how far beyond the access point the clog sits. Since the labor involved varies, most plumbers will charge an hourly rate for drain cleaning.
The average cost to hire a plumber is around $100 an hour but can vary between $45 and $200 an hour depending on the plumber’s experience and the repair that you need. It’s also important to note that these prices can go up on holidays, and emergency plumber rates average $150 per hour, in addition to a flat-rate trip fee of $100 to $350.
