I initially found out about Jake on Angie's list and based on reviews I contacted him to renovate my backyard, installing two large wooden fences around my property, adding two pergolas, and install flowers and plants. Jake is a man of action and I respect the care, dedication, and quality that he puts into his landscaping and design; he came out to consult with me about my yard, gave me great design ideas, gave me quotes that he stuck to, kept me posted of what work was being done when and why, and was very responsive to text messages. I paid him as sections of the work were finished. The pergola company he works with makes beautiful products that I will enjoy dining and lounging under for years to come! To date, they have completed a number of projects at my aging home, with all of its quirks and challenges. They've installed a new front porch and railing, steps, and sidewalk, as well as a new back porch and railing, steps, patio and walkway. In addition, they've installed new fencing and even trimmed my overgrown trees. They do excellent work, from concept to completion, communicate regularly with updates, and always go the extra mile. It went well. Part of the fence between my neighbor's and my property had fallen down. I asked for estimates from 3 different companies thru Angie's List. One responded promptly,...the other two almost a week later. Jordan DeMille called the next day and answered all my questions. The fence was installed first and they did such a good job I decided to have them install a gate about a month later. Both jobs were done very well. The FENCE was $2075 and the GATE and supporting fence panels (with Stain) was $ 2455. They listened to exactly what I wanted and did a very professional job and I would highly recommend them. * The iron insert was purchased online and installed by DeMille.

The crew was professional, and the project was done quickly. We had several special requests, and they executed them all. They also did a nice job cleaning up the site. We were so pleased with the results that we have used Homeguard on subsequent projects, including home repairs and house painting. We have referred the company to friends, who have also been pleased. After inspecting our roof and working with the insurance adjusters, Legacy Construction & Remodeling replaced our roof and gutters. The job was completed on time and looks and performs great! Everyone from Legacy was professional and courteous. They responded to questions and concerns about methods and materials with a great attitude. I do not always get that since I am very particular and tend to be a micro-manager. I want to know what is going on during any job at our house. If, or more likely when, we need another roof replacement, we will definitely use Legacy again.

I purchased a house built in 1955 and the master bathroom was very cramped and outdated. I worked with JAC to update the bathroom & they even helped me select a space saving vanity and suggested open shelving over the stool. This renovation involved replacing the vanity, wall mirror, overhead cabinets, flooring, painting, new bead-board & trim. The process was fast and completed in a timely manner. I will use this contractor again!
