"We did work for Ms. [Member Name Removed] over 7 years ago. She was very pleased with our work. She has not made any contact with us since and just now is writing a review. We did not do any backsplash for this job. She specifically said she had another company for that. There’s many reasons why grout can crack. We never saw this portion of the job she had done. The backsplash was not done by T & R. We take great pride in our work. We have not seen this “damage” to verify it is cracking, nor do we know the condition of her home currently. We do not know if there has been water damage or foundation problems during the past 7 years. Also, she would need to contact the tile/grout company for any manufacturer warranties. Unfortunately, due to the length of time span, Ms. [Member Name Removed] seems to have confused our company with the one that actually did her backsplash. As a contractor that is very experienced in doing tile and remodeling, I’m not sure why she is unable to find a legitimate company to do more work for her."
"We are a Construction company. We do major remodeling, room additions and new homes. Siding is done as part of these jobs. Yes, we are 7 months booked out as the bigger jobs normally do take longer than small handyman jobs. I'm sorry you felt the need to give a bad referral because we told you our company doesn't handle those types of jobs on their own. The only reason Angie's List shows siding is due to previous customers listing that as part of the work we did for them."
"We have always personally spoke with every customer regarding their estimate or if we were unable to reach them, we have always left a message. The only times we haven't been able to do this was when they're unable to accept voicemails."
"Thank you so much. We appreciate your business and it was our pleasure to work with you."
If he took more details notes and measurements and asked more questions about exactly what I wanted. We stood in the kitchen and backyard and talked about it and he didn't write anything down.
"We communicated to you previously that we were out of town on a family vacation and that we would not be back into town until Wednesday, August 9. We had every intention of getting your drawings to you when we got back. You were informed of the status and time-frame. Most companies require a reasonable amount of time to provide a quality product. At the time of the estimate, we even agreed to do 2 drawings for you even though the purchased deal was only for 1 drawing. This was after you even stated that you only intended on doing 1 of the jobs but you wanted the other 1 just because. I'm not really sure how many other companies would put extra work into an additional estimate after being told there wasn't any serious intention of doing that work."
"We have never done an estimate for any of the people on this account or any of the addresses listed as the address on this review keeps changing. This person is not even the registered property owner of the 1st property he listed. He then changed the address but is not a property owner for this address either. This address is a multi-family home currently managed by Provident Properties according to Shawnee County Property Records. Mr. Halverson is not a home owner. We did attempt to speak with him to explain that we have never done an estimate for him and that he must be mistaken. We informed him that this is a form of Slander/Libel. We explained that we complete any estimates we go on, as we are a reputable company. It takes time to go on estimates and if we didn't get back to the home-owners with their estimates, it would be difficult to get jobs. He then tried to say that it was not an estimate for any of the addresses listed that he keeps changing on his review but for some other house in Harveyville, KS. Our company has never previously been in Harveyville until the current job we just recently started in that town. His review is not a review of any work completed. It is a mistaken review of an estimate that our company never did, as we have never had any previous business contact with these individuals. Seems strange that he lists the date of the supposed estimate as August 2014, but just now posts a review; and then alters the original information he listed on this review."
"This was a phone call only, never actually went out to his house for this estimate. We explained that we were booked with other jobs for at least 5 - 6 months and that he might want to find another company that could do this type of work sooner. It was explained that when our company slows down, we could possibly do this type of handyman work. We normally don't do smaller jobs like this & that's why we recommended calling another company. There wasn't any "completed work" here, just a phone conversation with no written estimate or signed agreement."
"Since this review is so late after the work was done, the customer might not be remembering correctly. We were there to do the job on time, as scheduled. As far as the grout, it was purchased by the customer. He gave us the grout that he had picked out & wanted us to use. Therefore, we would not be resposible for matching the grout."
