Hello my name is Albert I was born and raised in Sand Springs Oklahoma and I would like to personally thank you for checking out my website. I'm not your typical contractor as I am a "hands on" business operator. I do not use any subcontractors I personally complete your project from start to finish. I have over 30 years experience including everything from concrete and framing to my now vast knowledge of finish work. I have 3 main vendors I have been working with for years that I get my cabinets, countertops, and tile from and they are all just within a few miles of each other in Tulsa which makes it easy for my customers to choose their materials. I also give you my discount on all these items as I do not make money off of material I make my money with my hands and skills. I take pride in my work and by not having a bunch of subcontractors I can complete projects much quicker and more efficiently than most others. Feel free to give me a call for a free estimate and hopefully we can make your project successful! Thank you for stopping by have a great day.

"I met Jill at our home and she took measurements and photos of our sons' room. We talked briefly about my ideas for the space. She provided several concept boards, for window treatments, furniture, and an overall "look" for the rooms. She also provided us with floor plans for each room. She brought paint colors, fabric selections, etc. Our first job with Jill was our sons' room. For the playroom, she had some pretty unique ideas that were right in line with the contemporary- but not too modern- look we wanted. She helped me with tips on doing some of the decorative painting myself, but also provided a few resources in case we wanted to hire the job out. She also helped me coordinate a subcontractor who handled a set of beautiful custom blinds. Jill tells me that in some cases she handles all the shopping, but that's part of the fun for me so she provided a list of links and stores for the items she chose. She gave a few choices for almost every item- budget and higher end. That allowed me to meet my budget while still getting some showstopper items, because we were able to save in other areas. Within a few weeks the room came together and got rave reviews after I posted the before and after photos on Facebook. And of course our visitors were amazed at the transformation. In the interim, we were redoing our guest bathroom on our own, and Jill was able to come into the project to help us choose tiles, wall colors, and vanity choices. A quick job that turned out really well considering the turn around time. A few months later we hired Jill again to rethink our living room and dining room. We were on a much more limited budget for both rooms but wanted to see what she could come up with considering some challenges in both the shape of the rooms and that I wanted to integrate some antique pieces we already owned. She came up with a brilliant look that blended our older pieces with a contemporary and clean look and we came in well under budget. Working with Jill was a lot of fun and we expect to continue to work with her to refine the look of our home. When I was considering hiring an interior designer I was worried about my low budget and lack of experience hiring someone to make these kind of choices for me. But it turned out to be the best decision we've ever made for our home because she allowed us to transform each area well under budget and much more quickly than we ever could have done on our own (well, we would have taken forever to make a decision on every item!). My favorite rooms in the house are the ones she's worked on with us. I just feel so happy that we found Jill Seidner."

"I found Fred on Angie's list, he was the only one in our area that works on mobile homes. He came right out, gave us a GREAT quote. Knows what he is doing, very friendly.. We were waiting on a roof quote, and he called us to check in the next day, said he was waiting on the metal place to get back with him. He is just a good guy.. He told my husband if we needed help with anything, just give him a call and he could talk him through it, or help decide if he needed to come help : )
The roof was replaced and it looks beautiful. We ended up paying 600 more dollars for the materials. He had given the metal place the measurements of the whole roof, and was not given a correct quote for the materials. We ran out of metal before completed, but Fred took care of all of it. We had the money and if it would have been correct in the first place, we would have had to pay it anyways. It took him only 3 days to finish(actual work time, not including having to run and get the rest of the materials)
He started on the bathroom after I was completely satisfied with the roof. He removed the tub, and toilet. removed all the rotted flooring, re-insulated, re-plumbed all faucets, and toilet. He capped off all the tub plumbing (I wanted the huge garden tub out of there). He replaced all the flooring with 1 in' plywood. added backer board, installed the tile, and toilet.
I have no worries about the kitchen and laundry room. The man has talent! He can work on trailers.. Like no one else!
My mother had an old historical home (which he also works on) and she is going to hire him for that!"

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

Yes, but you should only put tile directly on drywall in smaller areas that don’t experience excess moisture. For example, a small kitchen tile backsplash could work, but installing tile directly on the drywall in a bathroom or other chronically damp area is not a good idea. Either way, a cement backer board is a far more reliable solution, as drywall is susceptible to moisture and can warp or cause your tiles to crack.

Yes, but you’ll have to use some other type of tool to avoid damaging the tile and possibly injuring yourself. Some alternatives to tile cutters include a glass cutter, angle grinder, and wet saw. Depending on the tile material, you might simply be able to measure and score it with something sharp, like a carbide-tipped pencil, and break it off. Be sure to sand the edge for a smooth installation.

Grout and caulk are commonly used together, especially in bathrooms. Grout goes between the tiles and keeps them sturdy and in place on the walls or floor. Caulk goes in corners or where two different materials meet (like where the bathtub meets the tile) to create a waterproof seal. However, they are not interchangeable—you shouldn't use caulk to adhere tile and shouldn’t use mortar if you need a waterproof seal.

Whether you want to match your tile trim with grout comes down to your personal preferences. If you match the two, it can help your tiles to stand out while providing a clean, cohesive look. On the other hand, you might opt to match your tile trim with your tiles. The best option will depend largely on your tile design, as well as how it fits overall with the rest of your room.

The difference between floor and wall tiles is that floor tiles generally have higher strength and porosity ratings than wall tiles. Wall tiles are typically weaker and more likely to crack or become damaged under sustained pressure like high foot traffic.

For this reason, avoid using wall tiles on floors and vice versa.
