"I had researched a number of construction companies, but Domain Construction company owner Gerardo is the only one who came to my home with metal samples as I requested, unlike the others. He was very personable giving me a reasonable quote with a military discount. They completed the job in a little over a week. The guys were punctual and friendly. They cleaned up around the yard once the project was completed. We are very happy with the outcome. I would highly recommend Domain Construction!"

"Wolf did a great job and did it quickly. This was a sliding glass door in a sunroom, which was originally a full Metal frame solarium "kit" installed in the mid 80's. The firm that installed the sunroom wanted over $450 to just come and look it to see if they could repair, but were recommending we just replace the door at approximately $5K?? Wolf came made some adjustments and lubricated the tracks...done and working great, at a mere fraction or the costs quoted by others. Plan to use him again in the future!"

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

Aging-in-place universal design features can make your home more comfortable for family members who are older or have disabilities; they can also make your home safer. In addition, adding a universal-design bathroom can boost your home’s overall resale value.

Yes, such as using eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient designs for long-term savings.

Check reviews, compare quotes, and verify licensing. Ensure the builder has experience with modular construction.

It is technically possible to draw your own blueprints, but the process is extremely involved and really demands help from an expert. A professional architect has an understanding of design elements, interior design, the functionality of different rooms in a home, and how everything from furniture, outlets, and light switches should be laid out to serve you and your family best. Hiring an architect for blueprints can get expensive, but it’s the most responsible way to begin a new construction project. If you’re keen on DIYing, you could consider starting the process and then having a professional take over.

When conducting space planning, building codes and regulations need to be considered. As long as you are taking them into account and discussing them with the architect, you should be able to do your space planning appropriately.
