Small jobs welcome

"Hired them to remove tree limbs overhanging the house. They did a great job with clean up and removal. Lawn Company was much less expensive than another estimate I got from another company. I would certainly use them again."

"Michael with Everything Green Irrigation was great to work with. Submitted a request for quote Sunday and he was here, early to our appointment, Monday afternoon! I’ve had two other companies come out to evaluate the repairs needed to my sprinklers and it took them over three weeks, and several follow up calls, to finally get their proposals back. Michael came out, evaluated my issues and addressed them on site. Now my sprinklers are up and working like champs! Michael won’t oversell or overcharge you. Will be telling all of my friends about him and hope to have Michael back out to install some exterior lighting next."

"They called within minutes of requesting a quote. They were at the house looking at the fence within 30 minutes. By the end of the day the old fence was down and hauled away. The new fence was done the next day in between all the rain. I would defintely recommend them for any fence work. They were very polite and nice to work with."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

You can sell a house with lead paint, but there are several requirements. If you are aware that lead paint exists anywhere in the home, you must disclose that to potential buyers. Required home inspections will often uncover lead paint, especially for older houses where lead paint may still be a problem. If you have taken steps to encapsulate lead, you should provide buyers with full documentation of the project so it won’t cause any problems later on.

It is safe to remove old linoleum, but it may require the help of a specialist due to the risk of asbestos in the material. Before you cut into linoleum or try to peel it up, have it tested for asbestos. If it tests positive, professionals will need to remove it to prevent the risk of health issues from airborne toxic particles. If it’s asbestos-free, DIY removal is possible and safe.

If your roof was constructed between 1930 and 1970, there’s a possibility that the shingles contain asbestos. If that’s the case, you should hire a professional for repairs and replacement, as they’ll have the necessary equipment to stay safe from such a hazardous and cancer-causing substance. If your home was constructed after this period, it’s unlikely that the shingles in place are toxic. In most cases, asbestos shingles are not recyclable, while standard asphalt shingles are recyclable.

While not all homes built before 1978 contain lead paint, enough do, so you’ll still want to test to be on the safe side. The federal government banned lead-based paint for homes in 1978, but your state may have banned lead before that time. Around 24% of homes built between 1960 and 1977 contained lead-based paint, while 87% of homes built before 1940 contained lead-based paint.

Professionals use appropriate equipment to prevent property damage and ensure efficiency.
