We work from the OKC metro area west to Hinton and south from Purcell west to Lawton. We have a dump trailer and mini excavator for those bigger junk removal jobs.

I have worked in many industries I worked in the automotive field for 10 years. I now work in supplying doors and trim for major builders across Oklahoma I am working directly with builders to find door hardware cabinet hardware as well as exterior doors. I have been doing lawn care for businesses and homeowners for the past five years, I’ve been helping family and friends and neighbors with projects that they’ve needed done, and I also manage my mother-in-law‘s rentals, I guess you could consider me a handyman or a jack of all trade. Eventually, cracks or leaks could develop in the unit, which requires a full replacement. 

Whether it's worth repairing your garbage disposal depends on its age and the specific problem. Generally, if the unit is eight years old or younger, repair is a good option. For minor issues like a bad seal or a simple jam, a repair can be inexpensive, sometimes under $10. However, if the motor is broken (a repair that can cost $150 or more) or the unit is getting old, it's often more cost-effective to replace the entire disposal.

Once you have your garbage disposal disconnected, you can remove the mounting bracket by unscrewing the bolts that are holding the bracket. You can back them out just enough to pop off the snap ring, which prevents the bottom portion of the bracket from disconnecting from the top when you unscrew the bolts. Use a regular screwdriver to pop off the snap ring, and the rest of the components should fall off by themselves.

Large amounts of topsoil, dirt, or rocks will damage the blades of your garbage disposal or clog the pipes.
