"They where early and fixed three outlets, and fixed my microwave cord. They even checked the electrical lines in the attic. They also fixed what the prior electric company did not fix the day before. The price was $250 dollars. Cheaper than other electrical companies quotes."

"Jesse Hendricks is my go-to for everything electric! He is the best electrician I have ever been associated with. After dealing with others, Jesse sets the bar for professionalism, expertise and friendly service. Mr. Sparky is simply the best way to get electrical work done. You know how much it will cost, get the work done promptly and they clean up afterwards. What else could I ask for? I ask for Jesse every time and it is like having an old friend solving your electrical problem. I would never go anywhere else!"

"They came out just this week. We have like a yearly service that they come out and do services. We get reduced rates on plumbing, and other electrical type of work that they will do. I think my wife has known the owner well back when he was very small. I think that relationship has helped us in giving them our business. They have grown to the point where they have added new services. They've installed an new water heater and air conditioners. They put in new sinks, they've also done plumbing issues. So anyway, they do a wide range of things. They are tops in the heating and air. They have done a better than nice job on some of the plumbing issues they've done well. They done great on our hot water heater. They are very competitive with other companies. They're very responsive."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

Yes, electric-start snow blowers need to be plugged in to start, but you can unplug them and go once they’re up and running. Simply plug the snow blower into an outdoor outlet and press the start button. Once it starts, you can unplug it and use it freely. The idea for these types of snow blowers is to simplify the starting process from the typical pull-string starts.

When power is restored to your home, the transfer switch will return to utility power after about 10 seconds. Your generator will then run for a few more minutes to cool down before automatically shutting itself off. In most situations, your home will stay powered by the generator for at least five minutes, even after your power comes back on.

Using a wire stripper/cutter, strip about 1/2 inch to 1 inch of sheathing from electric wires, depending on the application. A self-adjusting wire stripper/cutter works best, but a standard wire stripper/cutter with holes for different gauges of wire works as well to cut and strip away the sheath without damaging the copper wire inside.

If a light switch is off, it’s very unlikely to cause a fire. For a fire to start, the switch has to be on, activating an electrical current, and the wiring must be faulty. However, the malfunctioning light switch could cause an intermittent current to move across the electrical wire. This issue could become a fire hazard with another device connected to the wire. You should replace the bad light switch as soon as you notice it or call an electrician.

Incorrectly wiring a single-pole switch results in the connected light or device not turning on or tripping the circuit breaker. Although it doesn't matter which terminal the hot wire and the load wire connect to, mixing up a circuit wire with a ground or having loose connections can prevent the switch from working.
