"Great job!!! I have a large yard and needed a lot of catch up work with leaves, and large branches from previous storms. I kept thinking I could manage it but when I sustained an injury to my arm I had to admit I needed help. I tried to hire someone else but the timing never worked out. He came and looked at the job, walked around and saw what I wanted done and when he returned he was prepared and handled everything I asked for at a really reasonable price. I will be calling him back for more work after the holidays."

The most common alternative is burning the stump first, then dealing with the cinders and ashes. You can often dig out the stump once it’s deteriorated or cover the area with soil or mulch to allow the stump to rot away naturally.
