"Joe did a fantastic job in cleaning the ducts! My home is a little over 50 years old. Joe indicated that the ducts have never been cleaned. He mentioned that this job gave him a sense of accomplishment and I'm very pleased that they won't be anymore dust (or at least not what I've had in the past)!"

"It went very well--people on the phone were very polite ("thank you for giving us opportunity"--when was the last time you heard that? ) The company representative came promptly on a cold snowy day. He put down drop cloths to keep my floor clean. He explained the work and did a nice job. When I pointed out one hidden vent in a closet, the gentleman thanked me for pointing it out and promptly cleaned it. Cost is based on number of furnaces"

"From start to finish I have no complaints. They arrived on time and worked from morning until around 9 pm. They were professional and answered any questions I had. They also cleaned up any debris that resulted from the chimney repair. I highly recommend this company"

"It was wonderful. The whole experience was very pleasant. The technician was polite and professional. He worked steadily the whole time he was here. He cleaned up after himself. He went out of his way for me because at the time I wasn't well. When we went to Home Depot to buy the supplies he went and brought me the handicapped shopping cart and taught me how to use it. At the end of the shopping he picked me up at the door. No swearing occurred. He also asked if there was anything else he could do for me so he did a few other small tasks that I couldn't do for myself at the time. So he did those for me as well. When I need work done for the house, The House Doctors are the people I call."

"John was very professional and thorough. He would be the first company that I would recommend for duct cleaning. I could not be more satisfied with the quality of workmanship."

Deck Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes, using sustainable materials and recycled composites offer green solutions.

The cost to build a deck around a pool typically ranges from $3,000 to $12,000, depending on the size, material, and whether you tackle the build yourself. Most people pay an average of $5,000 for their pool deck project. Hiring a pro to build a pool will cost you more for labor, but it will be worth it to ensure a safe and secure installation.

Footings for ground-level decks need to be at least 12 inches deep, and some areas require them to be even deeper. A standard range for deck footings is anywhere from 12 to 48 inches. The minimum footing depth is determined by an area’s frost line and soil conditions. If you’re unsure how deep to install deck footings, check local building codes to find the minimum footing depth in your area.

A wood deck requires annual cleaning and regular inspections for loose or broken boards, nails, and screws. It should be refinished by applying a stain or sealer every two to three years to protect the wood from water damage, rot, mildew, and sun fading. The exact frequency can depend on the climate and the deck's exposure to sun and moisture. If your deck is painted, it will need repainting approximately every 10 years. Signs that your deck needs refinishing include faded, splintering, or warping boards.

There are several methods for attaching stair stringers to a deck. The best way is to bolt the stringers to the deck joists using three carriage bolts in a triangular pattern. This method offers the sturdiest fit for stairs that won’t budge. Alternatively, attach the stringers to the deck rims using lag bolts or to the posts using adjustable slope hangers.
