"After several quotes and researching companies online, I chose to hire Eli and his crew for my driveway project, adding onto an existing driveway. Eli was easy to work with, responded to my calls promptly, and answered all my questions thoroughly. Pricing was competitive and job was completed the next day of hiring them. Driveway looks beautiful! Would recommend!"

"I contacted BTS Sealing Solutions to get an estimate. Brandon was quick to respond and gave a very fair estimate so I scheduled with him. He completed the work a couple of weeks later and did a beautiful job! He was very detail oriented. Not only would I recommend his work, but he was a kind, personable person who was a pleasure to work with!"

"Chuck and his team are some awesome people. My asphalt driveway probably hadn't been sealed in 10 years. It is old, has multiple layers of asphalt resurfacing, and really needed some TLC. They came out and filled in all of my cracks with top quality crack filler, patched some low spots, and broom coated my whole driveway with their thick sealant (not watered down) that dried quickly. Unfortunately, we had a crazy storm come through an hour after they were done. Tree branches fell, wires were pulled from my house, and a little of their sealant came off. They came back today and made it look like the storm never happened. The price was definitely fair for the quality of work these guys did. Could I have found cheaper? Probably. But if you want a top-shelf, quality job for a great price, look no further. This is the company to go with. You will not be disappointed."

"The crew arrived at 8:20 AM on Thursday August 14, 2014. They surveyed the area of responsibility. immediately began the methodical preparations necessary like edging the grass lines, digging the depth to blend into the existing driveway and cut out the area that required more detailed attention and lastly checked the drainage to make sure any rain drains down and out on my proporty versus the neighbor. The the workers including the owner worked very hard to complete the task and finishe by 1:20 Pm the same day. In fact, they did such a great job I invited them back to complete my backyard patio.

Driveway Sealcoating questions, answered by experts

Driveway installation is challenging. While chip seal might sound easier to apply than asphalt, the process still involves heavy machinery and professional skills. Unless you come from a construction background, we recommend hiring an asphalt company to chip seal your new driveway. If you are paving the driveway entirely with chip seal, expect to pay $5 to $10 per square foot.

Though they may look similar, tar and bitumen come from different sources. Bitumen is a petroleum product—extracted during crude oil refining—and is mostly made up of hydrocarbons. Tar comes from burning down organic materials like coal or wood. Bitumen is strictly oil-based, while tar is a mix of compounds from natural sources. Both are used as binders in paving; however, bitumen is the standard for today’s asphalt. Tar use has mostly faded out of road construction.

Sealing coat asphalt after 6-12 months and then every 2-3 years is recommended.

Fading color, visible cracks, or water pooling signal the need for sealing to prevent further damage.

Depending on the product used, you should avoid using your driveway for 48 to 72 hours after sealing it. In general, water-based driveway sealers cure much faster compared to oil-based and solvent-based sealers. Some driveways are even ready in just four to five hours.
