Hi my name is Lintisha. I am looking to open everyone's eyes to the benefit of Home Staging. Vivid Elevations was created when I realized that home staging was a tool used to control the amount of time on the market. 73% of staged homes sell in 11 days or less. By investing in home staging, you would be able to cut cost of utilities and the mortgage. The best part is you may not have to lower that price to attract buyers because you've already done that through home staging! Usually, the price that you spend on home staging is less than that first list price deduction. I invite all my potential clients to do the math on everything I mentioned, or I can show you my numbers don't lie. Hire me to get truthful opinions on how to get your home sold. I am more than just a home stager; I am an interior designer as well. I give small recommendations to improve help your house. I want to get your home sold fast & for the most money to help you & my business. Thank goodness we are on the page!

One of the beautiful things about the word "home" is that it means something different to every person. At some point, you may determine that it's time to move on and start making memories in a new home. Before you put your home on the market, think about the home-buying journey from the perspective of someone who holds their own definition of "home." \n\nMy approach to professional home staging is to create warm, welcoming, comfortable spaces that spark inspiration for home buyers. I want buyers to imagine how they could put their own stamp on a home and to feel they are standing in a home that has been well loved and cared for by the current owner. Staging puts all my best skills to use. I love design, helping people sell their biggest asset and shopping.\n\nBuyers respond more positively to staged homes, often making higher offers in a quicker timeframe. I welcome your call - reach out today to discuss the benefits from investing in my quick, professional staging services.

"I feel extremely fortunate to have found Vicki through Angie's List !  She is an extremely talented person who is very easy to deal with. She has a breath of knowledge that allows her to accommodate my tastes, but also ensure that the overall design is in sync with the design and location of my home.  She has  a very diplomatic way of suggesting when I'm going astray with my choices and in every case where she has told me "Trust Me"  I have been delighted ! She is very aggressive in helping me find the best pricing and often times will work with the vendors directly  hence saving me the time.  She also has excellent local contacts.  Everyone I've worked with through Vicki has been timely, professional, and highly competent.
My project is far from complete.  I intend to continue to use Vicki and her expert advice until the end !!!!"

Home Staging questions, answered by experts

Yes, staging a home really works and can help your home sell faster, potentially for a higher price than if you did not use a home staging service. According to the National Association of Realtors, 48% of seller’s agents reported home staging decreased a home’s time on the market.

Plus, 20% of buyer’s and seller’s agents claimed home staging increased home sale prices by 1% to 5%. Although decluttering and cleaning help a home sell, staging can take your home’s curb appeal to the next level, helping to expedite the process and increase your profit.

In most cases, staging a home is expensive but worth every penny. According to the National Association of Realtors (NAR), 81% of agents representing buyers stated that staging made a positive impact on the buyer’s perception of the house and made it easier to visualize it as a home. The value of your home—which is to say the amount buyers are willing to spend—is based on perception alone and not the inherent value of the land or structure. Therefore, improving the appeal of your home through staging is likely to make your home more enticing during a home sale.

Professional home staging services can vary between companies and properties, but the primary goal is to set up a house with aesthetic furniture and decor to entice potential buyers. Many stagers offer customizable packages, and you can often pay for additional services. Common offerings include:

  • Design and Planning: Color design, planning each room's layout, and professional interior design services.

  • Furniture and Decor: Choosing and renting furniture, decor, and artwork. This also includes the setup and takedown of all rented materials.

  • Arrangement and Organization: Rearranging existing furniture, decluttering, and organizing the space.

  • Ambiance: Creating a welcoming atmosphere with strategic lighting and accessories.

  • Repairs and Maintenance: Minor repairs, home maintenance, and addressing visible issues.

  • Curb Appeal: Improving the home's exterior with services like painting and garden bed management.

It's best to connect with a professional home stager to see what’s included in their specific packages or to request a custom service.

Choosing a high-quality home stager can mean the difference between your home flying off the shelves or sitting on the market for weeks or months, and it all starts with verifying the stager’s experience. You can start by asking how long the professional has been in the business, and you should also ask for references and examples of past work in your particular area. Ask the stager about your options, including virtual staging, furniture rental, and other preparation services.

The main difference between a home stager and an interior designer is that the former creates temporary, generally appealing spaces, while the latter creates personalized design choices for your permanent home. A home stager seeks to depersonalize your home while also showing off the best features of the home to potential buyers. An interior designer works with you to infuse your personal style into the decor in your home. You’ll typically only hire a local home stager when selling your home.
