"I believe the work was done well and effeciently.  There were some cracks left in the paint around the hole made for the fan housing that are visible even with cover on the fan.  Crew doing work put the insulation back after I asked them to without complaining and pointed out the cracks in the paint.  Person giving estimate was very professional and prompt with return of estimate.  I was originally told it would be a while before it was completed but happened quicker due to weather. Estimated price stated it was a four hour job but only took them 3.  Overall it was a good experience and I would use them again.

Wider lumber is typically a better choice in a larger building as it provides more sturdiness. Some installers may use wider lumber for rafters near the edges of the roof, where the greatest stress occurs, and save money with narrower lumber toward the middle.

Whether it is better to buy or build a chicken coop depends on your priorities, primarily cost versus time and effort. Building your own chicken coop can be significantly more budget-friendly, often costing about half as much as buying a pre-made one. If you have the time and skills, building a coop from scratch is the most economical option.
