Went back to working with an Amish crew again around30, was primarily building large dairy buildings and got into some residential single family home construction as well as restoration and remodeling. I’m a little bit old school in the sense that I prefer honest, hard work over a quick buck, “half effort”, or any type of hack or scam. There’s not a lot I’d be afraid to take on as far as jobs, but I know my limits and also the limitations set forth by the law. I keep a copy of the 2020 ICC Residential Code Book in my truck with me at all times because I don’t like to be wrong about even the little things when it comes to maintaining code compliance!
