"Justin the owner was extremely professional and down to earth at the same time from the get go. He is very passionate about his work and aims to please. Power Pro did just that. The crew members were all nice a friendly and professional. They all shared the owner’s passion and it shows in the work they do. This was the second painting company I used, and Power Pro Painting is WAY BETTER! Power Pro had to fix many mistakes, some that seemed unfixable but they got it done. If you want Pro’s who know what they are doing, do a great job and are passionate about their work, then hire these guys. The other folks I used, hired kids who had no idea how to paint a house. Justin the owner of Power Pro explained to me everything they were going to do, and explained to me what the previous company did incorrectly. All of the guys at Power Pro are solid and professionals. My house has never looked so good!"

"Was very professional and thorough. Some of our foundation blocks were crumbling and the mortar between them was in bad shape. One of the foundation blocks needed to be completely replaced. He managed to find a matching block to replace that one. Repaired all of the crumbling blocks and mortar. Overall the repairs look great and blend nicely on our old house."

"Had a great experience, very satisfied with all the work completed and can’t wait to work with this company again! When we had a hard time trying to get others to come out, James responded right away and finished the project in a very small time frame. He takes a lot of pride in his work, and worked very efficiently. He gave a lot of input and very knowledgeable and skilled in his field. His prices were also amazing on top of the great work he did. I couldn’t be happier with our choice to hire his company and would highly recommend him for a painting job!"

Stucco questions, answered by experts

When cleaning stucco siding, it is recommended to use a pressure washer with a psi (pounds per square inch) between 1,500 and 2,000. This range provides sufficient power to remove dirt and grime without causing damage to the stucco surface. It's important to avoid using excessive psi as it can chip or crack the stucco.

Using a wider spray nozzle and keeping a safe distance of about seven to 10 feet from the siding helps ensure a gentle and effective cleaning process. Always follow the manufacturer's guidelines and adjust the psi accordingly based on the condition of your stucco and the specific requirements of your pressure washer.

Hiring a professional for stucco repair ensures accurate diagnosis and application of appropriate techniques to prevent further damage. They deliver seamless results that maintain aesthetic appeal and prolong the exterior’s life.

If your windows are losing efficiency from wearing out or experiencing leaks on rainy days, it may be time to consider replacing them. Window replacement costs run between $180 and $410 per window but may be on the higher end for homes with stucco siding since stucco will likely require more time and special tools for replacement.

Stucco will dry in two to three days, but you should wait one to two months to allow it to cure fully before you paint it. The curing process is slow, but leaving the material exposed to air and natural moisture will help it reach its maximum strength. If you live in a hot, arid climate, wait a month before painting. Wait two months before painting if you live in a more moderate or wet climate.

Cracks in the chimney can be very serious, depending on their location and size. Even small cracks can become serious over time if left unrepaired. Cracks allow heat and moisture to deteriorate your chimney and harmful carbon monoxide gas to seep into your home. Small cracks can often be caulked, while large cracked sections may require full replacement.
