"Service person was friendly and knowlegable. He explained in very detail what would be done and the reason of doing it. He was careful not to make dirty my carpet and also tried to minimize damage to the duct system (openig of holes in order to put in the extraction duct).

To sum up, the service was very satisfactory.

"AMAZING. Filthy, whole house cleaning to prepare for sale. Phil organized walls, clean windows inside and out and kitchen, while Michelle scrubbed 2 disgusting bathrooms. The kitchen cabinets and linoleum floor were coated with years of grease, all gone with their chemicals. Hand scrubbing and a power floor machine! Streaked, blackened carpet was renewed to amazing lighter color. I arranged this over the phone. Phil and crew came on time, worked constantly so hard and performed a MIRACLE on a lovely ranch home that had not been cleaned in 10+ years. I trust Phil and his recommendations during this difficult process. He had me check the work as it went along, what a renovation!! Phil exceeded my expectations and is worth every dollar."

Carpet Installation questions, answered by experts

It's best to wait until the newly installed carpet has fully settled and dried before moving furniture back into the room. Your carpet installation professionals can provide guidance on the recommended wait time based on factors such as the type of carpet and adhesive used. Moving furniture back in too soon could damage the carpet or affect its adherence to the floor.

Several types of flooring can be installed over existing tile, provided the current tiles are in good condition. Options include vinyl, vinyl plank, laminate, engineered wood, hardwood, carpet, and cork. Among these, various types of vinyl and engineered wood are the most common choices due to their versatility. Alternatively, you can install new tiles on top of your current ones if you like tile floors but want to update the look. Before proceeding with any new flooring, it's crucial to ensure your existing tiles are not damaged; otherwise, they will need to be removed first.

When installing carpeting on your steps, start at the top and work your way to the bottom. That way, you can easily control the carpet and create a better seal. This approach prevents the carpet from bunching up or creating wrinkles as you work. You’ll have better leverage over it as gravity helps guide it down each step.

Acclimating laminate flooring cannot be rushed. Laminate flooring needs at least 48 hours to acclimate properly to its new environment, and being patient during this time can make installation go smoother because you will not be dealing with boards that have expanded or contracted during the shipping process. You will also be less likely to damage the boards during installation.

While it's possible to cover asbestos tile with carpet, it's not recommended. Encapsulating tile beneath carpet doesn't eliminate the health risks. Over time, the asbestos tiles could degrade, releasing fibers into the air and potentially contaminating the carpet. Disturbance during carpet installation or removal might also release fibers.
