 + -1 moreWe take our car there for everything. They do checkups and maintenance. When our car was, hit, we took it there for repairs. We take our car there whenever there is an issue at all with the car good or bad. I would tell someone looking to use them that they would be very pleased if they went to them. The workers were very competent and very friendly.

 + -1 moreI was happy with them then and I used them again, but my 2008 car now has an engine that uses oil. They all know the problem, but they would not fix it. That makes me mad. The quality of service, they do a very good job. It is just that I am mad at them because they would not fix my engine. It is part of a recall, but it does not use enough oil to make it to where they have to fix it. Sunnyside is a very good company. They respond, but they are saying that it does not use enough oil to warranty them to fix it. I am saying it does, but they are the ones that have the power in this relationship. They are very professional.

 + -1 moreI would highly recommend them. They have an outstanding service department. The cleanliness, friendliness. The salesperson was outstanding. I've referred him to multiple people. I got my sister a great lease with the same salesperson and the same company. I've had no issues at all. I thought we got a good deal.
Description of Work: I have a 2009 Toyota Venza and I still use the same dealership which is Sunnyside Toyota. I have a regular maintenance. Usually it's just an oil change and tire rotation.

 + 0 moreI don't feel they did anything to my breaks. They also were supposed to do an oil change and inspection. I went to get an appointment and had to wait a week to get in. I was 30 minutes early dropping off my car. The oil change was supposed to take an hour and a half and after they had my car for 3 hours I still had not heard from them. I called three times and they never returned any of my phone calls. They were rude and did not have the common courtesy to call me back and lied to me. There is no difference in the breaks.
Description of Work: They were supposed to do a disc break job and a 75,000 mile check-up

 + -1 moreI wasn't too happy to have to show up for a 3 hr. appt to have the recall work done, but found, to my pleasure, that Sunnyside service makes very good lemonade out of what could have been a face-puckering, onerous experience. Yes, it was a lengthy wait, but I could have opted to go to the Mall to shop using their courtesy van. However, I chose to read in their pleasant waiting area and the work was completed in 21/2 hrs. In addition, they checked my tires, wipers and blades and then washed the car.
Description of Work: Provider replaced the mechanism that was part of a national recall involving potential damage to air bags.

 + -1 moreThey were ready to take the care. It took about 45 minutes which was well within the hour they had told me. They washed the outside of the vehicle. Nothing stupendous, other than they did a great job getting me in, processed, and then out again. Also, on a previous visit my battery had shorted out. I'm not sure why, but it happens. No questions, no problem. Didn't give me any problems to replace it. Its a brand new 2013 Camry (Purchased May 2013). But I've heard of friends who have American cars, and they have been and quot;talked toand quot; when they've had simple issues like this. We have a Honda Odyssey and have taken it consistently to Sunnyside Honda. We like them a lot. So I have very high expectations of this dealership now. My business is theirs to lose. I hope they don't let me down.
Description of Work: Provided the 5,000 mile checkup on the vehicle. Topped off fluids. Inspected whatever is on that list.

 + -1 moreThe service department does a great job. They get you in very quickly, get the work done and give your car a wash before you leave. The entire process does take a little longer than I would like (and gt; 1 hour). The staff are very friendly, polite and professional. I take may car to Sunnyside every time.

 + -1 moreIt was easy to make an appointment (online), and accommodating of our schedule. Service was quick, but sometimes when we need a shuttle service to get to work, they seem to have difficulty providing the ride. Overall, we've been getting wonderful service from the staff.

 + -1 moreThis service was performed on our current Toyota which is the second vehicle purchased and serviced at Sunnyside. We have always been pleased by their service as well as their personnel. I have been treated as a valued customer, very courteous. They listen to our concerns and address them as necessary. I have never been left feeling that my concern or questions haven't been adequately addressed/answered. I do not hesitate recommending this dealership for service.
Description of Work: This service was for routine maintenance (oil change, fluid levels and multi-point inspection). All part of no-cost routine maintenance on a new Toyota vehicle.

Their prices are obviously higher than the smaller family owned auto shops in the area. However, since they are an official dealership that is to be expected and in exchange for that you are assured responsive and punctual service.
Description of Work: Changed oil filter on this occasion, but provided auto services for my 2005 Toyota Prius for the past 8 years.

 + -1 moreI went online first and they were the least pushy. They were the most professional, no matter who greeted me inside. That definitely surprised me. Bruce jackson waited on me, and he has been there 6 years. That shows me that they don't turn people over a lot and treat them well, which is important to me. I want to know that same person will be there years from now. Their service is quick. They called me when my plates were in and went out and put them on in the rain. They pointed out the safety features and how they work.

 + -1 moreSunnyside indicates they fix it right the first time. I assure you, they do not stand by that.
Description of Work: I bought a used 2006 TT with 21k miles in 2009. Currently has about 58k. I have had it in the dealership over 20 times for the same two or three issues. Mainly 15 times for the check engine light. I have had the charcoal canister replaced 3 times and related valves repaired/replaced several times as well. Now it needs a 4th. HQ says they'll cover the part if I pay labor. I disagree I should be paying anything at all. This part should not continue to go bad. It's a sad thing to buy such a car and get such service. We just traded in our Audi A6 2 months ago, a car I also purchased from Sunnyside, for a Honda Pilot. The TT is next. Those 5 series BMWs look lovely, no? Audi doesn't care for their reputation and has demonstrated apathy for the quality of their parts and service. I'm not their wealthiest client, far from it. Likely why I am treated as I am. But I have friends in high places and I'm telling them all! The part is supposed to be in stock tomorrow. They told me the total cost was $870ish. I'm going to be on the hook for about half.

 + -1 moreIt's a little more expensive than if you go to some cheap place. But they take care of you and are very very good. I have gone to them for 3 or 4 years. I have had brake work done and the price was comparable to other places. I didn't have to worry that it was done wrong or something. It is always done right. They are very good. I will continue to use their service.

They tell you what is going on and seem to be pretty thorough on their stuff. I will use them again in the future.

 + -1 moreThe dealership covered the last 3 months of our old lease and gave us some equity on the old Sienna. The new lease rate was the equivalent of 1% with $2750 down. The deal was very fair and they voluntarily shared all information about the terms and did not pressure or rush us. Our salesman, Remon, was particularly helpful and responsive. We had heated seats installed by the dealer and Remon was very helpful in getting this done. He made multiple phone calls to confirm the scheduling and provided us with a nice courtesy vehicle. We have purchased/leased many vehicles in the past and Remon is one of the best salesman we have ever dealt with.
Description of Work: We turned in our old Sienna re-leased a new Sienna.

Description of Work: I have bought 5 cars from Sunnyside Toyota. Pretty much all of the service work I have had done to the cars has also been done here. The most recent time I used them was for an oil change and routine maintenance. They had to do a lot of stuff that they normally wouldn't have last time, so it ended up costing a bundle.

 + -1 morewe got our full 5800.00 back months later. luckily we found out about the class action on our own. no thanks to sunnyside.
Description of Work: performed an engine rebuild after timing belt failure on an audi tt. there was a class action lawsuit because of a failure by audi to cover the repairs under warranty. the full cost of the repairs was refunded as a result of the lawsuit. sunnyside wrote in their report that the timing belt failed because of a seized water pump. there was never anything wrong with the water pump as verified by an ase certified mechanic who examined it. they charged us for the repair even though it should have been covered as part of the recall.
