"In all of the 24 years that we've lived in our home, our sump pump never kicked on. We just assumed that it was because it didn't have to because our property is on a hill, but it turns out that it was rusted solid. Also, the water pipes from the downspouts on the west side of the house to the street were clogged with soil and/or roots, and were not draining rain water underground to the street's gutter efficiently, so in a heavy downpour, the excess water was seeping through the concrete blocks of our foundation on that side of the house. Luckily, we discovered water on the floor in our basement before it got to be a major problem, and we scheduled a crew from Stay Dry Waterproofing to install a new sump pump and all new PVC pipes underground. They showed up on Monday morning as promised, and spent several hours tunneling under the mulch beds next to our house and down the hill, and then UNDER the sidewalk to the gutter. They did a good job by returning the top soil dirt back into the trench and the sod back in place. They did poke a small hole in the plastic window well cover with a shovel, but it's no big deal (we sealed it with duct tape, and big flowerpots will cover it in the summer). Joe Basham was very polite & friendly, and he and his crew did an excellent job!"

Mid state basement systems had the best and most fair pricing. They did not use any scare tactics and were upfront and honest. They were also the only company to use a laser level and show me the sag difference in my joists that I was experiencing. I hired mid-state basement systems to do crawl space support and repair on my load bearing wall in my basement. MY PROBLEM WAS UNIQUE AS LOAD BEARING WALLS NORMALLY DO NOT NEED TO BE REPAIRED LIKE THIS! At first, it was not level upon completion (BARELY 1/8 INCH OFF) in ONE spot and I let my sales rep Jiovanni know. the team came back out within 48 hrs and adjusted everything and let me take a look at it. They did a fantastic job. The installation crew even wiped down my floors for me after they were done! They were so polite, and respectful and made sure there was no damage to anything as they were moving steel beams to my basement ( my fridge was an object in the way to the basement door ) Do not let competitors make you question the validity of this business. they were fantastic. Rating of sales 5/5 Rating of the installation crew 5/5 Rating of management 5/5 Rating of mid-state as a company : 10/5 I do not believe I would have received this level of responsiveness of any of the competitors. I would choose mid-state basements for any basement project I had. Please use my review to know that mid-state basement systems will do the job the right way and how you need it to be done. "This is the closest category I could find for what I had done and know that they do this type of work. I hired this company to install a french drain in the back of my yard. There is a hill behind me and the grade from the house made the water collect in a swamp with nowhere to go. They did a great job of trenching out the entire width of that area, added perforated pipe with a filter cloth and gravel, then replacing the topsoil. They put a well with a sump pump at the end and tubing to pump the water out to the front of the house so it would go into the drainage system. Mike Jr., Brandon Powers, Eric Lawhon and Mike Houtchins were the team of workers and did a great job cleaning up afterwards also. It was a pretty large project but it only took them two days to complete. I am very happy with the results and highly recommend them."

"Positive: Professionalism We had a very wet crawl space and Reliable installed a drainage system with 2 sump pumps, plus a vapor barrier. The crawl space has stayed dry every since. Even in the wet periods of the year when the sumps are running the crawl space is dry. Plus the nasty musty smell has never came back in our house. They offer a renewable warranty that we do keep up, thankfully the job was done right so we haven't had to use it. They did an excellent job and I would recommend them to anyone experiencing a wet basement or crawl space."
