"They came the same day to fix my garbage disposal which was broken and it was a weekend (Saturday). They did a good job of explaining the different options and and double checked the issue and fixed with new disposal unit. Once completed they did a thorough inspection to make sure there were no leaks or other issues. Cleaned up when completed and provided us instruction on how to use the equipment. Would definitely recommend them to anyone for plumbing related job."

"Lance and his team are awesome and really saved me and my family. The house we bought needed a new roof and these guys got it done efficiently and quickly. There were a couple leaks around the chimney which we had patched by a different company previously to get us through. The patches didn't last as long as we had hoped so I had to move along with plans to replace sooner than expected. This situation was stressful but it could have been 10 times worse and I really appreciate that it wasnt. All due to the friendliness and professionalism from Lance. Would recommend to friends and family for sure."

Bathtub Replacement questions, answered by experts

There are a few things you can do to keep your bathroom remodel as affordable as possible in your mobile home:

  • Ask your contractor to replace caulk and grout rather than retiling

  • Ask your professional to refinish your tub/shower rather than replacing

  • Upgrade your sink fixtures rather than replacing the sink

  • Upgrade cabinet hardware and ask your remodeler to refinish the cabinets

  • Avoid changing the layout of your bathroom

It’s substantially less expensive to reglaze a tub than to replace it. The average cost of reglazing a bathtub is between $400 and $700, but that range may be higher based on where you live and the type of tub you have. Meanwhile, if you want to replace the bathtub, you’re looking at $2,000 to $9,400, with the average close to $5,700.

Installing a walk-in bathtub can be worth it if it improves the user's safety and independence. However, because walk-in tubs require a large investment, not every homeowner has the means or desire to install one. As an alternative, some homeowners prefer to install a walk-in shower and transfer bench instead. Walk-in showers cost between $1,150 and $8,000, making them far more budget-friendly in comparison.

A chipped bathtub could leak over time if you don’t take care of the issue. A tiny chip isn’t a big deal but may eventually grow into a larger crack. As the months go by, the tub’s barrier against moisture becomes weakened, making it prone to leaking. Large chips can also cause the tub to rust and even crack in half.

Start by gutting the old fixtures and features that need to be removed, such as the tile, vanity, and flooring. You may benefit by removing the toilet, even if you intend to use the same one. Next, install the new shower or tub, followed by the flooring, and then the drywall, which you should then paint. After that, install your new cabinets, vanity, countertop, sink, and faucet, in that order. Replace your light fixture next. Lastly, reconnect the toilet.
