"Broadview Windows offered a price that was comparable to a prominent local competitor, but we felt that Broadview offered the better product. (It helped that Broadview actually brought real samples of their windows to our estimate appointment and walked us through the features; the competitor brought only brochures.) The windows arrived from the factory within the timeframe we were given, and the installation went really well. We had a few small hiccups with scratches on our stairs and a stress fracture in one of the windows, but Broadview didn't hesitate to make things right. We can already tell the difference in airflow and indoor temperature retention, and the windows look great! We would heartily recommend Broadview to anyone looking for high-quality, Northern climate-rated windows and great communication and customer service!show more

"Installation of two basement glass block windows with vents. Price was competitive based on several local quotes and I try to use local tradesmen and small businesses whenever possible. Work quality was good. Daryl and Jason were friendly. No major complaints but a few items keep me from giving top scores. Communication could have been better. I called the Wednesday before installation as I had not heard from him for several weeks after sending my deposit check. It was then he told me he'd be over Monday at 9 am to install the windows. While I understand the windows were custom ordered and taking longer than initially expected, short notice could be problematic for someone with a less flexible schedule. Daryl arrived between 9:30 and 10 am. Cleanup should have been more thorough. The mortar pan was rinsed in my utility sink. This would have been fine if they had rinsed the mortar from the sink and made sure the drain remained open. I didn't find the problem until later that evening and ended up having to unclog the chunks of mortar from the drain and scrub away a thick layer of mortar coating the sink. They swept the floor but left many mortar drips. They also left the old windows on my curb saying someone would come by to pick them up for scrap/recycling. They disappeared after a couple days. My husband was not pleased about this and felt they should have cleaned up better, removing all demolition and rubbish.show more

"My old unlocked mailbox was beat up by vandals and left on the ground - broken and mis-shapened - and my mail missing! So, I looked up mailboxes in my community and found 'LOCKING MAILBOXES' in Paradise. The owner, James Richards, came out to my home that day to take a look. He then helped me choose the right secure locking curbside mailbox that fit my home and property needs. I bought the Columbia Mailbox with matching post which was $200 plus shipping and an additional installation cost of $50. It took just a few days and he was ready to install my mailbox - and what a difference it made! It improved the curb appeal of my home but more importantly, I felt protected from theft that my mail and packages will be secure, even if I go away for a few days. All the secure mailboxes are reasonably priced and crafted in the USA. Mr. Richards was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly! I would defiantly recommend LOCKING MAILBOXES! It was a pleasure doing business with him!show more
