I struggle a bit giving negative remarks about Hauser heating and air as overall they did a pretty good job but they are more expensive than others for the same product and not willing to match pricing, I feel that they are a bit deceitful in the sales tactics and communication for the most part is really good, except when you need them to be flexible, then you hear nothing for days on end. Some of the issues that I encountered were I feel we were mis-led into belief that there were no ?hidden charges? and that everything would be installed to code.  The plenum on the old system was too small and it was recommended that it be built to better fit the system, I assumed that this should have been included in the almost $6,000 we are paying for a new system, but rather no, we were charged an extra $500 to rebuild the plenum which I didn't really agree with, but felt no other choice, why would you install a brand new heating air system and have it go through the old ducting system?  We had a quote from another company that was several hundre dollars less than what they were offering, but we elected to go with them because they could answer our questions and they did give us a 3 year service agreement and a surge protector for the outside unit.

 Shortly after Independence Day weekend they came out and installed the new ac/furnace combo.  They were unable to completely hook up the furnace as the exchange is going to be ran outside the back of the house as opposed to up the chimney flue and the deck we were going to tear down was in the way of where they wanted to run the venting through, so the service guy said to check back when its done (be sure its before the cold weather kicks in) and we can get an appointment to come out and have them finish the job.   After they left it we?d found that they did not keep any air flow in the basement (not a good thing for a fish room) and two of our electrical outlets are now gone, figured no problem, will have them fix those things when they come out to finish the installation on the furnace.  I contacted our sales rep on August 17th.  It is now September 4th and I still don?t have an appointment set for them to come back and finish the installation.  I explained to them that we need a late afternoon appoint as we both work later and my husband would like to be there for the installation, neither of us have any extra time to take off work to do this.  I?m also told no problem on getting the venting back into the basement, but they cant do anything about the electrical outlets that we are missing because they were on the old furnace and they can?t attach electrical outlets to the furnace (its against code).  But she offered to install a new circuit panel and breaker for an additional $350.00.   The last communication with them was on August 31st when she asked me what time we go into work in the mornings.

Update on review. 9/8/15 - I finally got a message with my sales rep and she was able to get us an appointment that did not conflict with our work schedules.  Which I really appreciate.
