"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

"Mike Thompson and his team did substantial exterior work on our large Victorian home in Wilmington, Ohio, in the Summer of 2017, and we have been extremely satisfied with the high quality, the speed, and the very reasonable cost of the work. We moved into our house in the Fall of 2016, and it needed substantial work. There were large holes rotted out of several places on the eaves, which was allowing birds to enter our attic and causing the gutters to be non-functional. The house also had a paint job that was nearly fifteen years old, and desperately needed a new coat on the entirety of the exterior. Mike let us know that the work on the eaves would be a substantial undertaking because the box gutters themselves had mostly deteriorated. The rate he offered us for the work, however, was much, much lower than two box gutter specialists from the Cincinnati area, and it quickly became clear that we would benefit from someone who knew the area and had worked on many similar homes in the city (as it turned out, Mike’s dad had actually worked on this house when it was temporarily converted into apartments a few decades ago—and that he was responsible for preserving the house’s awesome pocket doors!). Despite several rain delays, Mike and his team had the job done within a few weeks, and the eaves looked like new (after having previously looked like they belonged on an abandoned house). In addition to the gutter work, Mike and his team also did an absolutely fantastic paint job on the entire exterior. We were interested in an authentic polychrome Victorian paintjob for the house, and they more than delivered. With our permission, the team got creative in their work, and we are glad they did. The exterior details of the home (columns, frieze, door) were painted to make them “pop,” where previously many of the embellishments would have been unnoticeable to passersby. We’re not the only ones satisfied with the job: we have had literally dozens of neighbors and other Wilmington residents tell us that they are delighted by the updates—and that the house is once again one of their favorites in the entire city (and if you know Wilmington, you know there are a lot of great houses in this town). Not only was Mike’s original work excellent, but he will soon be returning to patch up a couple of spots that need minor repairs, a service that we’re very grateful for. I know Mike is proud of the work he did on this house, and he should be. We truly live in a stunning house, and we have Thompson Home Improvementto thank for that."

"It went very well! Tim came to the apartment and looked at the issue. He told me that he will place the order for the new and more efficient unit than the old boiler and install asap. Tim's crew came the following Monday to demolish the old boiler and installed the new boiler on the same day. The new boiler was up and running on the same day. It was a smooth startup!"

"Eric contacted me shortly after searching Angie's List. I described what I needed, a radon mitigation system, and he provided a written estimate via email. Much lower than what I expected. Eric was able to come out in a few days and install the system. Installation time was about 3 hours. No additional charges. He returned to the house three days later to retrieve the radon monitor and showed me the current reading of 1.0 pC/l, well below the 11.0 pC/l from a prior test.
