"They were able to come out quickly to assess the issue, then schedule the work. The work was performed quickly, but they did have to come back and fix the drainage issue, as they had set the drain as one of the high spots in the basement, not the lowest. So, while it works, it looks odd and I’ve got a drainage tube in a weird spot."

"Reid did a great job. He unclogged my main sewer line that had a clog about 80 feet out. I knew it would be difficult because I myself tried many different ways to unclog it. This young man never gave. Great job."

"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! My home warranty company sent drain tech out when my toilet was clogged. They snaked, removed the toilet, and replaced the ring. After the service from drain tech, I started noticing a foul odor in my bathroom and nats. 3 month later, I remodeled the bathroom and had the floor ripped up. My handyman found mold on the subflooring caused from the toilet not being put back on correctly. The mold also went down into my unfinished laundry room below the bathroom. I had only bought my home 3 months prior and reached out to the home inspection company first. They were able to produce photos showing that there was no mold in the laundry room when I bought the home. I provided the photos to drain tech and they said the were not responsible and would not cover the cost. I was not trying to get rich off of the incident. I was going to replace the floor in the bathroom anyway. I just wanted them to cover the additional cost for replacing the sub floor. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. This company has great reviews and I am sure they do a good job a majority of the time, but they did not own up to their mistake in may case"

Sewer Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Some of the most common plumbing problems in mobile homes are frozen pipes, leaking pipes, clogged drains, and low pressure. Since the pipes in a mobile home aren’t as insulated as those in a standard build, they’re more susceptible to fluctuating temperatures and damage.

Regular cleaning, avoiding grease disposal in sinks, and installing drain strainers help prevent clogs.

First, find the cleanout pipe in your yard. Unscrew the cap—you may need a wrench to do so. Then, get a drain snake. You can use a non-motorized one, but a motorized snake will make the job a little easier. Feed the snake through the pipe until it reaches the clog. Spin the snake continuously, but don’t try to feed it through the pipe anymore. Keep spinning until you feel it break the clog apart.

It's advisable to have your sewer line inspected every three to five years to ensure its proper functioning and detect any potential issues early on. However, the frequency of inspections can vary based on factors such as the age of your sewer system, the type of pipes used, and your property's location. If you notice any warning signs like slow drains, foul odors, or sewage backups, it's essential to schedule an inspection promptly, regardless of the regular maintenance schedule.

Yes, sewage smells can originate from a floor drain. If the P-Trap in the floor drain dries out or if there's a clog or other issue in the plumbing system, sewer gasses can escape through the drain, causing nasty odors. Regularly pouring water into the drain helps maintain the water seal and prevent those smells, but if the smell persists, you should have a plumbing professional inspect the drain for potential problems.
