"He was late 2 hours and didn't finish until late in the evening. He left with the Security Door unable to be locked and the Exterior door dragged and had light coming in various places. He thought that I was ok with his workmanship as he had said. Came back another day and said that he hung the door properly but that the steel frame was wrong for my house. Although, I questioned him when we were moving it out of the box if he could install it. He stated no problems. But now it was the steel door that had a problem."

The master bath tile had a haze on it as well. The cook top looked like grease was smeared on it. They did offer to come back out, however I declined."

The length of time you can keep a dumpster in your driveway depends on local guidelines and your rental provider’s policies. Many companies offer rentals for 5 to 10 days, while others allow extended periods. Many cities limit the total dumpster time for residential areas, typically to no more than 30 days per year. To avoid fines or issues, check with your local public works office and your dumpster rental company to understand the specific limits in your area.

Several types of items aren't allowed in roll-off dumpsters. First of all, hazardous materials and hazardous liquids are a no-go. This includes asbestos, oil, wet paint and other materials. Other banned items include batteries, electronics with lithium batteries, propane tanks, tires, and appliances with refrigerants. Some areas have shifting requirements (for instance, certain locations do not allow mattresses), so check with your local regulatory agency.

You will need a permit for a roll-off dumpster if you plan on storing it in the street or if it will block any sidewalks or other public areas. A roll-off dumpster that sits completely on your private property often won’t require a permit, but some HOAs and municipalities will require them even if the dumpster won’t be on or block public spaces.
