"We bought a patio cover in 2018 from Giant Factory Direct and were very satisfied with the quality and appearance of the product. But it was destroyed when a nearby tree was uprooted in a storm and fell across the patio. Chris worked with us to have the old cover hauled away and replaced with a new one. We expect to be able to enjoy this patio cover for many years to come!"

"I don't ever fill these things out. But I am AMAZED at the service we received today. From the time I damaged the door and called, we we had a repair person onsite and everything looking amazingly like new in just about an hour total. I backed into this thing, knocked it off the track - I had pieces of the wheel assembly laying in the driveway! - and Bill wasted no time, got down to business and, like a wizard, somehow had us not only repaired but flawlessly so and left us fine-tuned. I am thrilled that we weren't bilked for a brand-new door because I would have had no choice. The fee was more than reasonable for same-day service with results this amazing. I also want to recognize Bill for being timely, knowledgeable, efficient, friendly - he saved me thousands as far as I am concerned. And, best of all, he didn't make me feel like an idiot for backing into the garage door (he probably knew my wife and kids will have that covered). I'll tell anyone who asks - and several who don't - that Dayton Door Sales is spectacular. Many, many thanks."

"They removed the old cover and replaced with new one. Crew was very pleasant, neat and completed the job in far less time than I anticipated. Everyone I dealt with at Giant was pleasant, informative and met every expectation."

Small jobs welcome

"Lee's did an excellent job on our bathroom(leaking pipes). He explained(and showed me) everything that was going on(wrong) , and how he had planned to fix it. He arrived on time, and did the work as promised, w/o any problems. No matter if I emailed, or called... he replied asap, on any questions//comments. I will have Lee's out here, to do more work in,and outside, of our home, in the near future."

Patio Covers questions, answered by experts

While brick is sturdy and aesthetically pleasing, it’s also an expensive siding material. Other great siding options to consider include vinyl siding, wood siding, and fiber cement siding. Vinyl siding is likely to be the most affordable option, but wood siding can create a rustic aesthetic, and fiber cement is one of the lowest-maintenance siding options available.

Yes, most awnings include warranties for materials and installation. Confirm terms before purchasing.

The cheapest material for covering a tennis court is rubber or clay. Rubber needs to be installed over a concrete or asphalt base, however, which can make the project more expensive up-front (but cheaper to resurface over time). Clay courts are among the most affordable, but they aren’t the best to play on and require a lot of maintenance.

On average, awning costs range from $1,400 to $4,400. The low end of the cost range can be around $100 up to $7,500 on the high end. Cost factors include the type of awning, size, and location. Portable awnings are the most affordable and DIY-friendly to install, costing $100 to $400. Larger, motorized awnings tend to be more solidly built, ranging in price from $2,000 to $3,500.

The least expensive way to enclose a porch is with screens. These protect the room by preventing insects from entering and, if you live in a warm climate, provide excellent airflow during hot summer months. Screens cost far less than any other alternative, so if you are against getting permits, spending too much, or enclosing your porch in walls or glass, screens are the best choice.
