"My house was in desperate need of cleaning(4 bedroom, 3.5 bath). My inquiry to the service for a quote was answered very quickly, and they came out for the estimate the next day I was available. On the actual cleaning day, the crew of 3 arrived on time and they did a good job. One of them even used a toothbrush to scrub the tracks of the windows. I found a couple of small things that were missed, but they had a big job as my house cleaning had been "let go" while I had a long illness. I was delighted and decided to use them monthly, I hope it is the same crew every time. (English is not their primary language, you will need to listen carefully and speak clearly.)"

"They did a wonderful job. Bill Fowls, the owner, came in and took the corneous board down in 15 minutes and were on their way. Two weeks later, when I was ready, they brought it back looking fantastic!! 10 minutes later it was back up and they were on their way. I would recommend Bill and his team to anyone needing cleaning services."

"Arrived on time, cleaned the carpet conscientiously, offered advice on treatment of spots, and cleaned an area not originally anticipated when the appointment was booked, for a modest incremental price. Overall, individual was honest and fair. He caught the fact that in the original estimate we received over the phone, the estimate included an "oversize room" when in fact the task was more limited. I would not have been aware of this fact on my own. Additionally, I asked about spot cleaning approximately 20 spots on our basement carpeting, he suggested the walkpath be cleaned in total and we were charged only $20 for the additional work.

Carpet Cleaning questions, answered by experts

No, there’s no limit on how much you can tip your carpet cleaning pro. If you couldn’t prepare for your carpet cleaner beforehand, you might feel inclined to give them a large tip for their troubles. However, there's no pressure to tip that much, and most homeowners typically tip 10% to 20% of the total bill.

Cat pee has a strong ammonia-like smell, so if you smell cat pee but don’t have a cat or don’t suspect your cat has any accidents, there could be other issues at hand. Aside from pet urine, your house may smell like cat pee from leaking freon from an old fridge, mold, spilled cleaning supplies, or even outside odors from nearby farms.

Generally, it’s recommended that you vacuum your carpet once per week and steam clean them every six to 12 months. If you have children and pets, you might wish to steam clean more frequently to remove stains and wear-and-tear. Consider steam cleaning carpet every 6 months in these scenarios.

No, you should never vacuum or sweep up mouse or rat droppings, as doing so can release harmful particles into the air and increase your risk of disease exposure. Instead, wear gloves and a mask, spray the droppings with a disinfectant spray, let it soak for a few minutes, and then carefully wipe them up with paper towels. Afterward, disinfect the area thoroughly and immediately wash your hands when you’re done.

A carpet cleaner uses steam to penetrate the fibers of your carpet and remove dirt, while a carpet shampooer uses a detergent to clean the carpet’s surface. These are both efficient methods of cleaning your carpet, but steam cleaners do a better job of sanitizing the surface of the carpet.
