Since I can do most of my services remotely with you over the phone, I am hoping to eventually open up to larger markets and help people from having to take their computer in to get it fixed, if it has internet access, I can usually fix it over the Internet. I work on a flat rate service, and don't charge by the hour because I feel it's important to educate the customer on what the issue is/was, and how to avoid it in the future. I feel that local service companies (my competition) have been overcharging customers for years. I offer a first time customer discount of 10% but I will offer 15% off for first time customers referred by Angies List. I've lived in the Huntsville area most all my life, so I know the area very well. I will never use a subcontractor as I am very picky about making sure that if my name and company is associated with something, it will be the best experience my customer has ever had, and using sub contractors won't ensure that, so I prefer to do all the work myself. Lastly, I should point out that I am a former offensive lineman for the University of Southern Mississippi and was Brett Favre's center his freshman year at Southern. I went on to play for Tom Landry in his last year, but gave up pro football early on to pursue my passion of fixing computers. If I didn't have bills to pay, I would do this for free because I love it! If you have a computer problem, I promise you that you couldn't find a better technician that will care about you as a customer, and not about the bottom line. "The cleaning that this company did on the chimney was sufficient, they also provided some additional services for me at an additional cost - including small chimney repairs. I was later advised that the additional repairs were not that great."

"I met with Mike who came and did our estimate which went very well. He then came back out to meet with our insurance company while they looked at the roof. They scheduled to come out and start on the roof the next day.
The crew arrived around 8:30 and they worked hard until after 9PM. They laid down tarps to catch the big stuff that was removed from the roof,  but they also have one man who goes around all day and cleans up. He picked things up and rolled a magnet all over. He tried hard to keep it picked up, so we didn't see a lot of mess. They got rained out most of the next day but were able to finish the job in about 2 1/2 days total work time. We have a big roof.

The roofing job seems to be well done. I also needed them to tear the top of a bay window out to remove an old beehive. I asked them to save what they found so we could all see it and they did.

There were a few things the crew did that weren't very professional. The main one is with our air conditioner. On their first day, I looked out our window and saw a thick piece of foam, like a seat cushion, laying on top of our AC. This was during the time they were tearing the old roof off, so I thought they were just making an effort to protect the AC from falling debris, so I didn't think anything about it. Bad idea! That evening, we noticed that the house was pretty hot. The AC wasn't working. We thought the compressor had burned up. Our HVAC company wasn't able to make it here until almost a week later. So we were without air for a while. Thankfully, the compressor was not burned up. Our coil needed cleaned so the airflow was restricted and when they put the cushion on top, it got hot and shut itself off to protect the compressor. I appreciate the fact that they were protecting our AC unit but if they were going to leave it covered up, they should have asked me to turn it off.
