"We shopped around quite a bit and kept coming back to the Carpet Store in Beavercreek (their main location is in Centerville).  The selection, quality and customer service kept us coming back.  We actually had them come out in December 2012 and again in February 2013 and both times the entire process was great.  We worked with Joanie(sp?) who knows her stuff.  Loved how direct she was and that she makes sure you know pros/cons re quality of carpet for your specific needs.  Since we were selling our house she knew we didn't want to spend a ton of money but needed something that looked great that would be a bonus to the sale of the house.  We had the same installers each time and they showed up around 10am and worked non-stop (not even sure if they ate lunch).  They were very pleasant and again knew what they were doing.  Would recommend this company - just a nice, hardworking group of people.

"i made a appointment with his company the day of his truck broke down I was very understanding said no problem and we set a date for the next week they were very nice when they came in i was told over the phone (I have 4 kids) that the carpet would be close to be dry when they got done cleaning (LIE!!!!)) I left a message to day because the Floors were soaked for 2days and even after they were done drying when you walk on them they still turn your feet black so if they wont Correct this i will be using another Recommended Cleaning Service to Fix there mistake"

Floor Cleaning and Waxing questions, answered by experts

The best solution for mopping floors depends on the type of floor you have, but a good all-around or multi-purpose DIY floor cleaner is 2 cups of warm water, 5 to 10 drops of liquid dish soap, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. This is safe to use on tile, laminate, wood, polished concrete, vinyl, and more, as it’s relatively neutral and lacks caustic and abrasive chemicals that could be harmful to children and pets. You can also use a multi-purpose commercial cleaner, but make sure to follow the directions for safety.

Both buffing and polishing increase the longevity of your floors by removing scratches and buildup, but they are different processes. Polishing removes the top layer of your floor, removing surface-level scuffs and scratches. Buffing your floor involves filling the scratches and scuffs with a buffing solution. No matter which method you choose, you can rest assured that both techniques will leave your floor looking shiny and new.

Depending on flooring type and condition, costs range from $0.25 to $2 per square foot.

Yes, you can polish an existing concrete floor—as long as the slab is structurally sound and in good shape. In fact, that’s what makes this type of flooring upgrade so appealing. Polishing works best on bare concrete with minimal surface damage, although you can usually repair cracks and stains before the grinding and buffing begins. Instead of ripping out your existing concrete floor, polishing it can turn it into a high-shine showpiece that’s both practical and sleek.

You can use dish soap mixed with warm water to clean just about any type of flooring, and while vinegar is a great addition to some floor cleaners, it’s not a good idea to use it on wood flooring or engineered wood flooring. Vinegar is very acidic, and it can gradually eat away at the protective finish on wood floors. If you’re cleaning laminate, tile, concrete, or vinyl floors, feel free to use vinegar and water in a 1-to-1 ratio with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, substitute the vinegar for olive oil.
