"Job included minor drywall repair in kitchen soffit and to a lace ceiling, and painting of repairs (and two extra rooms and trim), and our entryway wall and trim as well as the stairway walls and trim (to the top of the stairs). The drywall repairs were seamlessly done, and the painting of the repairs and spraying of lace ceiling very good. We know that lace ceiling repairs are hard to match, but these are nearly flawless match. The painting of the other rooms (dining and parlor), were completed with the same professionalism, quality, and care for my property as the repairs in the kitchen. Mario was quick to respond to questions and very responsive with changes made at the last minute. The job took 3 days. I highly recommend Reyes Painting to everyone reading this review. I am very critical of work I pay for, and Reyes delivered."

Taking the time to properly prepare your tile backsplash before painting and treating it with care afterward is the best way to ensure its longevity. Because satin paint has a sheen to it, it will highlight curves and contours. While that’s great for trim, it’s not so excellent for your repaired drywall that has a few small blemishes. In addition, satin paint will stick to your surface better if it’s primed. Sand and prime your surface before applying satin paint for best results.

It’s important to wait until the drywall is completely dry before painting the wall. This can take up to 24 hours. If you paint while the drywall is still wet, the paint could bubble, peel, or have trouble sticking to the wall. To speed up the drying process, you can turn on a fan, run a dehumidifier, or open windows.

When choosing paint for stucco, it's recommended to use a high-quality exterior paint specifically formulated for masonry or stucco surfaces. Look for paints labeled as "masonry paint," "stucco paint," or "concrete paint." These paints are designed to adhere well to stucco surfaces and provide durability and weather resistance. 

Opt for paints with good breathability to allow moisture to escape and prevent potential issues with trapped moisture. You may also want to consider paints with UV resistance to protect the stucco from fading or discoloration due to sun exposure.
