"The owner of the company, Ryan installed luxury vinyl plank on the first floor of my two story home. The space is quite large but Ryan completed the job promptly and did an excellent job installing the flooring. He also installed quarter round which looks fantastic with the flooring. I will definitely use Prime flooring again for future flooring needs!"

"Refloor did a great job on my basement and laundry room floors. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and made picking a color easy. My old floors were scratched up because of my dogs but my new floor is definitely more durable. I definitely recommend Refloor to anyone that wants new flooring in their home, you won't be disappointed!"

Small jobs welcome

"My lasting impression is that Cody takes pride in what he does. My floors were long overdue for some TLC after an extended time of neglect. Got a fair quote, set a project start date, Cody's crew put in the hard work and the end result is a very happy customer. The decision to stain my golden oak floors dark (Jacobean) was mine; but the confidence knowing Cody was going to do an excellent job was on him. It can be nerve wrecking when you are doing home projects from selecting the contractor to the final details of color selection; it is refreshing when your contractor can take the burden of the end result off your shoulder. I would highly recommend them for your hardwood floors needs and encourage you to have the confidence you will love your floors."

"Couldn't be happier with this company. From Amy's first visit through completion of two porches, the service was superb. The only glitch was the weather. It rained the day the service was scheduled, but Amy worked with me to get the work completed as soon as possible. The installers were courteous, friendly, and very helpful in explaining their work. They left the property clean and I love the look of the product."

"The service was great but had some minor complaints. First of all the salesman said they would cover all walkways...and they didnt do that also they didnt close either of the two doors causing LOTS of dust through out the house when it would of been confine to only one room. Last is they caulk outside the shower doors that i feel was unnecessary. It looked very unprofessional it was not straight and neat. They came out and tried to remove it but could not all the way. They were going to replace the new shower doors hardware but my wife and i decided we didnt want our news shower doors remove and new holes drilled into our new shower wall."

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

If the installer is unwilling to fix the problems and you’re not interested in seeking remediation, you could hide a visually unpleasant floor. This will only work if the floor is structurally sound and the only issue you have is the way it looks. The easiest way to do this is to use large area rugs. You can also paint the floor, although that’s a labor-intensive job if you want to go the DIY route.

The cost to install carpet is $1,780 on average for 330 square feet, the size of an average living room. This cost could range from $200 to $5,000, depending on the amount of carpet, material, and type of carpet.

If you need 500 square feet of carpet, it’ll cost $1,500 to $5,500, while 1,000 square feet of carpet costs $3,000 to $11,000. Polyester is one of the more affordable options, ranging from $1 to $3 per square foot. Wool is a more luxurious option, ranging from $4 to $20 per square foot

Carpeting with a low pile is both slip-resistant and soft, making it one of the safest types of flooring in the case of slips and falls. In order to be fully ADA-compliant, carpet shouldn’t exceed the thickness of half an inch, and you should secure the edges to the floor to prevent trip hazards.

Other ADA-compliant flooring options include hardwood, laminate, or ceramic tile with a gritty, anti-slip surface. Ceramic or porcelain tile are actually some of the best types of flooring for wheelchair users.

Choosing the right carpet involves assessing room usage, desired comfort levels, durability requirements, and stylistic preferences. Carpet fiber types and density should also be considered during the decision-making process.

Carpet installation costs include carpet type (material, weave), room size, subfloor preparation, and labor costs. Getting multiple quotes provides a clearer picture of expected expenses.
