"Adrian was fast and thorough from the beginning - from the quote, to scheduling and installation. We had to wait for better weather to add the gutters after installing the metal roof, but it was no problem. Can't control the weather. Price was right, installation team (s) - tear off, install, finish work and gutters, were all great. They were respectful, kept the site clean and kept their trucks and gear out of the way of neighboring businesses, which was important."

  • Spacing: The recommended spacing for furring strips is between 12 and 24 inches apart on center. Proper spacing is crucial for ensuring good airflow, adequate drainage, noise reduction, and better energy efficiency. The ideal spacing can depend on the roof's pitch and the specific type of metal roofing being installed.

Roof sheathing can buckle from moisture damage, too much weight from roofing materials, or too much space in between rafters without thicker sheathing to compensate for the added distance.
