"Would highly recommend Advanced Air Solutions. They have done multiple projects including installing dryer vent, air duct cleaning and installation of heating/AC ducts. Like working with an honest family company that is always professional, fair and does great work."

"I would hire them again. They were very professional, completed the services on the day they said they would, and did a great job. Cleaned up all surrounding areas of the work, no debris left behind. It is sometimes hard to find a home repair job go exactly the way you want it to, and as agreed upon. This company was reasonably priced and did excellent work."

"Extremely well done overall installation process for our new AO Smith Proline 50-gallon electric water heater. Installation was thorough, clean and effective. We had hot water in about an hour. We also have had no sulfur smell issues, whatsoever, even with an older 60-ft shallow well supply source. The new OA Smith electric unit is working perfectly. The combination of Lake Construction and the OA Smith water heater is a good one."

"We had new windows and siding installed in our 1967 house in the early fall. They did a wonderful job, siding lays beautiful, clean and smooth, you can barely see the seams. Installers were polite and cleaned up everything, every day. Could not be happier with how the finished product looks!"

"After receiving multiple estimates over the course of a month my husband and I were very confused of the various opinions from all the companies. One company wanted to install hollow base molding for $1800.00 and one company wanted to charge us $18,000.00!!! After meeting with Jerry from Buckeye Waterproofing we were very much at ease. He was very patient and very knowledgeable in his profession. He assured us that he could resolve all of our problems for a moderate price. He even got us 0% financing. He also gave us a list of references at out home which we called several of them while he was there and they all checked out. He also said he would take care of all permits and inspections and we didn't need to worry about anything. All in all we made the right decision to go with Buckeye Waterproofing. From Jerry all the way down to the crew that did the work as well as the office staff were very helpful and efficient. Everything went exactly the way they told me it would. I am very pleased and would highly reccomend Buckeye Waterproofing

"Purchased through Costco which uses Weatherking as their local contractor. The Costco purchase involved a little more paper work and payment upfront but saved 10% and was explained upfront and was a smooth transaction. Sales and Techs were all very professional. Sales was clear and provide multiple options and was not pushing the highest price one. Install went smoothly and was started and completed on time. They came back a couple months later to start the AC since the it was too cold during the install and were able to do so quickly after I called to schedule."

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

Any drain in your house requires a water trap to prevent sewer gases from entering the home. Dishwashers don’t have an internal water trap, so they must use an external P trap. The most convenient P trap for the dishwasher is already in the plumbing under your sink.

Yes, you can use flexible pipe for a sink drain. Flexible pipes can make it easier to fit sink plumbing together with less measuring and fewer cuts. However, corrugated flexible pipe can trap hair, grease, and food particles in the folds and cause foul odors and eventually build up enough to clog the drain. Smooth pipes are recommended for sink drains and plumbing.

Basic replacements can be done DIY, but professional services ensure proper sealing, leak prevention, and plumbing adjustments.

You can choose a few different options for outdoor kitchen sink drainage. You can install a dry well about 10 feet away from your home or patio or install a French drain closer by. You can also drain into your home’s plumbing system, but it is more costly versus using a dry well.

Once you have your garbage disposal disconnected, you can remove the mounting bracket by unscrewing the bolts that are holding the bracket. You can back them out just enough to pop off the snap ring, which prevents the bottom portion of the bracket from disconnecting from the top when you unscrew the bolts. Use a regular screwdriver to pop off the snap ring, and the rest of the components should fall off by themselves.
