I have called him for a couple projects and will hire him again. I called him to replace my hot water tank. He called me back the same day and fit me into his schedule. He came on time, did the work and cleaned up after. The price was reasonable.

They did an excellent job.

Another company wanted a $98.00 fee for inspection and estimate. It would be refunded if I used them. Rick gave me a ballpark figure. He came out and inspected it and stayed at the same price. He was under another quote. Next morning he was in and out in less than 3 hours. Including picking up parts.

My hot water heater broke down and Rick called me almost immediately after I submitted my request on Home Advisor on a Sunday. Said that he'd be out Monday afternoon, but arrived at my house early mid morning with 2 helpers. Simply outstanding experience! The stairs to my basement were "shaky" and Rick did not feel that they were safe to bring the new water heater in and the old one out. While the two other helpers were busy replacing the water heater, Rick worked the entire time to repair my stairs. And that was definitely needed! When he was almost finished, he was concerned that the repair job may not hold, so while his helpers were finishing the tank replacement, Rick went out and bought some long screws to secure the stair repair job!!! All at no extra charge! Also replaced the cold water input valve to the tank at no extra charge. He charged me what he quoted me upfront. If you need any kind of home repair/contract work done call Rick! Don't mess around and take a chance with your money and time! Great people and companies like this are hard to find. It went very well! Rick was extremely helpful. My hot water tank stopped working on New Year's day in the evening. I was not able to find anyone to help me, especially considering it was a holiday. I submitted a request on HomeAdvisor.com that night. Rick called me first thing the following morning at 7am. I gave him the details of my situation and he was at my house by noon that same day! I was extremely grateful and impressed with the service he provided. He was very knowledgeable, prepared, prompt and sympathetic to my situation. I couldn't have asked for better service and to be honest I doubt I would've found anyone better to do the job. I highly recommend Rick and his company and will definitely hire him again should I ever have the need! I would rate him 10 stars out of 5!! Amazing service and can't emphasize enough how happy and impressed I am/was with Rick.

He put In new hot water heater, fix kitchen sink drain, put new steps up to deck also replace new wood in deck, It went very well is an outstanding company, his workers are very polite, clean up very well after they are done with work, Lake Construction shows up exactly when the say will be there would highly recommend Lake Construction

Extremely well done overall installation process for our new AO Smith Proline 50-gallon electric water heater. Installation was thorough, clean and effective. We had hot water in about an hour. We also have had no sulfur smell issues, whatsoever, even with an older 60-ft shallow well supply source. The new OA Smith electric unit is working perfectly. The combination of Lake Construction and the OA Smith water heater is a good one.
